OH I've always heard he was error prone
Yes he is...I thought he would be a better replacement for Okoye who was on AWOL from national team then, this made me to have interest in Okonkwo, watching him several times, sir he is not better than Uzoho,my only hope on him he is still young cuz Okoye proved that with his performance with Udinese....I just hope Okonkwo comes better with time just like Okoye

Iheanacho should be invited for the upcoming S.E. fixtures
As a technical staff? Definitely not as a player

Iheanacho in 2026? 😏

Okay but how many of his matches did you pointed this out, especially during Afcon...
None was obvious during the AFCON, but in the EPL

You cannot compare the technicality and tacticality of EPL football to that of AFCON.
You have more stretch of games in the EPL than in the AFCON, enough to discern lapses.

This should not even be a hot take. He has done enough to regain his spot.

If he has done enough to regain his spot, based on his stats then Sadiq Umar and Taiwo Awoniyi should get a look in too,for Unity Cup since our A list players will not be available.

Zadok and AIK react to claims winger has been named in Nigeria squad for Unity Cup

Zadok Yohanna and AIK sporting director Miika Takkula have responded to reports in the Nigerian media claiming the teenage winger has been named in the Super Eagles squad for the 2026 Unity Cup.

It had been suggested that the highly sought-after forward received an official invitation from the Nigeria Football Federation ahead of the tournament at The Valley, but both Zadok and Takkula have dismissed the claims.

Nigeria manager Eric Chelle is rumored to be monitoring the youngster, who has played fewer than 18 senior matches since turning professional, despite being eligible for both the Flying Eagles and Olympic Eagles.

The 18-year-old has emerged as one of AIK's brightest prospects following an impressive start to life in Stockholm, registering eight goal involvements (5 goals, 3 assists) in 17 appearances across all competitions since his arrival last summer.

Zadok and Takkula insist that no contact has yet been made with the Nigerian Federation.

"It's not official yet, I don't know ... I've seen it on social media, but I don't know," Zadok told Sportbladet.

When asked whether he had been approached by the Nigeria Football Federation, he added:: "No, not yet. But I hope they call me."

A potential call-up for the Unity Cup, which is not part of the Fifa international match calendar, could see Zadok miss key AIK matches, including an away derby against Hammarby and a home clash with league leaders Sirius.

"It's not up to me, it's up to the club. If I get selected but AIK says I'm going to stay, I'll stay, there's no problem," Zadok said.

Clarifying the club's position, AIK's sports director Miika Takkula said: " I have heard the rumors but I have not received any official contact from their federation. We will see if it comes and if so, take it from there.

"First of all, we have to wait for contact from the Nigeria Football Federation and then see what the situation looks like. But it is only speculation."

Zadok's goal in the ninth minute salvaged a point for AIK in their 1-1 draw against IF Elfsborg on Sunday.

There was a time Enyimba (iirc) came to flog us 3-0 at home. The city was very quiet or at least we who do not live far from the stadium.

Hopefully Suuting nicks a Continental spot.
