if you are a landlord that means you are heartless too
I'll never build any house for rent. The one I have serves as personal use. If I have money to build elsewhere and move, that won't make me increase rent by 100% every market days. Rent can't solve my financial problems.

No problem since you've based rent only on fuel price. He should increase it by 2000% then since that will solve all his problems.
We are a monolithic economy - heavily rely on oil and gas. You should know that by now. Oil controls every sector of our economy.

I don't know which sector you operate or work at but if you check your current operating cost, you would agree with me that it has gone up too. And definitely more than 108%.

So let's be honest with ourselves and be fair on Landlords. We should take the blame back to the government that removed subsidy without a robust backup/cushion plans.

We need a paradigm shift of the economy from consumption to production. It's the only sustainable pathway for the country.
I pray Nigeria will be OK.

Don’t misled the person please. No law gives you six months to vacate property.

After your rent expires, you are served with owners intention to recover property after 7 days. If you don’t vacate after seven days, landlord takes you to court. In court you tell the the judge how long before you vacate property which can’t be more than 1 month and you must pay the rent for the 1 month. You are not entitled to occupy a property more than a day after your rent expires.

Always get the through position of the law. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse.

Yes, because I understand the return on investment is very low.
How many years do you think it will take for you to break even if you build 5 units of 2 bedroom flats for rent? The urge to make quick money out of a long term investment that's not sure you'll break even before you die is the root of all evil.
