Sure.. Not just me. My entire family. Some refused to eat for days... After that experience my mum never allowed another pet in our house.

My dog, Jack lived for 10 years.

Eventually it couldn't bark again and it became docile. I had to call in a Calabar man.

Calabar man asked me to tie rope round its neck. Guys, I ran away when I handed over the rope to him. He hanged the dog to death.

I was pained. My kids were too

No tears, but I was surprised by the vacuum he left. I watched him take his last breath.

I used to have a white pretty pigeon. I always fed it clean food and even added little milk in its water
One day, I noticed it was too gentle unlike it's energetic nature. I noticed it was sleeping like dozing. I bought it drugs and I was hoping to see it get well. On the 3 day it died cry

My baby boy was sick for the first time in years(will be 10years old this July 2nd)
I took him to the vet and was to be admitted for 7days(those daylight robbers).
I cried everyday I went to visit him even though he was still his bubbly self.

I don't know how I would cope if I lost him
This dog na that lekki breed? 😎

Why didn't you let it die naturally?

I can't forget,I was shielding tear coz of my little dog. I bought dog wey pass my power.
Back then in secondary school I bought this little dog, doesn't look local, with very big ears. Many people in my street always talk about this beautiful dog but the problem was that she only ate bread soaked inside milk.

Imagine I'd sometimes buy kulikuli or groundnut to soak garri but I'd buy bread and milk for my dog lol.i tried all my best to make this dog eat the normal food we're eating it didn't work.
Anytime I had no money to buy her food I wouldn't let my mum rest until she gave me money. My mum kept warning me that I would need to chose between myself and the dog who I wanted her to be feeding, coz my dog was even costing her more.
Soon we had end of term vacation and I had to travel for like 3weeks, after two weeks I had the heartbreaking news my dog was gone.I couldn't control my tears.
Did you put the dog in the care of anyone?

Nigerians complain that there is no money, yet they maintain pets. I dey fold arms look una. The only reason why I have a cat is because rats have sworn to make my life miserable. There is no reason why I will raise an ungrateful animal if it has no use.

Crying is an understatement. I couldn't sleep for many days when I lost my pet dog 21st March, 2026 to bike crushing its stomach both with front and back tire. An Lhasa Apso breed named Caspian. He would have been a year 18th April, 2026. Last year November, he went into coma for more than 4days after eaten spoilt food but he survived it. until he died this year. Am so so sorry Caspian May your soul rest.

So, it can be painful losing a pet that's well loved.

Belle, the best dog anyone can have . Even my name on this platform is named after my dogs. She died after just 2 days of being sick. The cry , I cried , I couldn't be consoled. Even now looking at her pix , cry started again.
