Government should pay more attention to skills acquisition than universities/polytechnics. Simple.

Imagine someone studying IT,CS,CE,etc.after 4-5yrs years you're not fluent in any programing language unless you do self learning on your own, meanwhile someone can learn and acquire IT skills with online resources under 2yrs and be good enough to land employment even in international firms.

In the first instance what is a person who earns £100K doing applying to Moniepoint, can they afford to pay him.

That company only has a large turnover, it is not making as much profit as people think

This man is not serious. Moniepoint can not employ Nigerians because they are unfit. Oga, but Nigerian banks like GTB, Access bank, UBA, Zenith bank, FBN and other multi National companies employed these Nigerians that he is claiming that they are unfit and they are doing well. Is Moniepoint bigger than these banks or other big corporation in the country? Most of these banks established business schools where new hires are trained in order to fit into the system. This is the reason why a person that read Animal husbandry, political science or even chemical engineering is working in a bank and he is doing very well. He is just taking trash. Get your business school where these people can be trained. Similarly, give adequate compensation packages and see whether these vacancies will not vanish in a tickle of an eye.

he should mention the roles he is struggling to fill before we answer him

If Meta, Google and other international brands can fill up positions, why can't moniepoint?

You are a very gullible person. The five hundred shortage claim is a blatant lie. Conventional banks do not have such shortage. Multinationals recruit every year and have not publicly made such complaints. They hire the best, train and match their wages.

But this liar, who first of all doesn't have five hundred vacant positions, and whose wage offer is pauperized, is all over the place creating noise. You want to pay ridiculous salaries for people to slave 24 hours for you. He and his company barely even recruit direct staff. They have agents littered all over the place, slaves they pay peanuts as commission. Get sense, you!

Those vacancies published on their website do not exist!!!!!!! It is a strategy used to entice international investors as well as sell an exaggerated outlook of rapid growth.
