TheSuperNerd:Arsenal truly should be winning the quadruple this season, they still have all to play for to grab both the premier league and champions league. They have no choice but to make history and both players and coach should be flogged in the market square if they fail to win both trophies. Arsenal will always have a chance when all the big teams in Europe have crashed out! |

123jamessmith:Owen Damilola Oseni is playing for Plymouth Argyle in league one but his stats damn too poor to merit eagles invitation |

elyte89:I feel you, But i like their last AFCON outing, they were virtually undefeated even with attacking football, anything could have happened if they didn't have to face Morocco/CAF at home. Nevertheless, their back to back world cup miss is painful and not acceptable, but we go move on as they know that the next AFCON trophy is none negotiable |

Goke7:E be like say you want them to go empty handed this season by expecting them to win both champions league and premier league, CL would be better for them,pL can wait for next season |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Goke7: 1:12pm On May 07 |
Napoleon55:What will be their excuse? In epl, Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool don collapse, in champions league Barca, Madrid even Bayern is no more so what will be their reason not to win both trophies except something Dey pursue arteta for dream wey e never confess 😂 |

Breaking! Nigeria has new U20 and U17 National Team Coaches. The U17 Coach especially excites me and I hope he does great things as he is young and seems tactically sound. He is Sporting Lagos Academy Head Coach and A Current Super Eagles Match Analyst. The NFF Executive committee have ratified the appointments of Abdu Maikaba and Eboboritse Uwejamomere as the head coaches of Nigeria's U20 and U17 men's teams. Maikaba served as U20 assistant coach in 2019 & has coached several NPFL sides. 29 years old, Uwejamomere on the other hand, has worked as a match analyst for both Super Eagles & Super Falcons teams while having served as Head of Academy for Sporting Lagos.

This is Coach Eboboritse Uwejamomere. Works with Super Eagles Head Coach, Eric Chelle as a Match Analyst and has also provided analyst service for the Super Falcons. Eboboritse currently holds the UEFA A and UEFA Elite Youth A Licences. His experience spans as follows: Former academy youth development coach at Millwall FC, Gillingham FC and Nottingham Forest FC in England. A new dawn for the U17 National Team is here.

His Naija National Teams Journey did not begin today but since 2022 when he was appointed Match Analyst for the Super Eagles. He was supposedly 26 then and had a Uefa B Licence. Now he has Uefa A Licence. Growth. ✅️ Eboboritse Uwejamomere🤝🏿 |

TheSuperNerd:Will they allow him to work, scout his olayers, give him time to camp the boys and even if he fails allow him to stay for like 2-3yrs ... Not that he won't qualify and they will sack him cos of mot enough time to prepare the boys. The appointments is late already just have few weeks before the qualifiers |

AndSunGorilla:This one can pass as an under 23 player. Darn,he is too young to work under NFF. This is one of those appointments NFF does sometimes that yields success, one would start asking if it was really NFF's doing. Maybe our next under 17 conquest is within reach, who knows. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Napoleon55(m): 9:02pm On May 07 |
soetanoreoluwa:If he is good, he should be given 4-5 years contract, 2 years is too short to achieve the target they would be setting for him. Manu,Amuneke, they have all served previously under other coaches before they could achieve anything with that under 17 team. |

We have said it before but now, ....Ange Yoan Bonny switch to CIV is official. That Ivorian NT attack just got the final piece added - A Bonafide CF. Bonny flanked by Yan Diomande, Amad Diallo, Bazoumana Toure and co. Omo. CIV should be exciting to watch at the WC but not sure how fast they gel. In all, the quality just got uplifted. Brilliant acquisition.

Relax. Let his work begin. Head Coach of Sporting Lagos Academy is not a small thing as that is one of the best football academies in Lagos and Nigeria currently. Although I understand another former Sporting Lagos Coach who won the Gothia Cup for them was linked to the U17 Job. Shola Adegun. It was he who I thought would get the job from earlier rumors but Eboboritse it is so let us watch and hope for the best. solonnachi: |

I like the U17 coach appointment. He is young and coaches in one of the top academies in Nigeria. It was either him or Coach Olumide. The U20 coach OTOH looks like another clone of Bosso and Zubairu. I am not optimistic about his hiring. When will they announce the U23 coach? We have qualifiers in a few months. I hope they give the job to Siasia. |

Unai Emery and "Villa" for Europa League. If u not Villa, no chance. At seVILLA, he won the UEL 3x (2014, 2015, 2016) At VILLArreal, he won it in 2021 (Chukwueze was there). At Arsenal, he lost in 2019 coz they got no VILLA. Now at Aston VILLA, he has a chance to complete the VILLA Collection in 2026. Hail Emery, the VILLA Man. ![]()

Meanwhile, Christantus Uche may have been removed from the UECL squad during the January/Feburary adjustments as allowed by UEFA but according to same UEFA, he is eligible for a medal should Crystal Palace lift the UECL title. 50 winners medals are given out to the UECL winners. 40 to the UCL winners and 40 to the UEL winners. So Uche should get one. If he does not, then palace really run am streets. |
