I suggest a more comprehensive test should be conduction in a different medical facility to get a second view.
Please, follow this advice my sister, and l pray the result will be something better than the first. Above all, Please take it to the Lord in prayer. Prayers in faith solve what we cannot handle.
Actually, mine didn't start till when I was sixteen, and it was not regular until about 18 years of my age then. My daughter's own started at almost sixteen, and still irregular which I know will adjust at the right time. So don't worry, everything will be just fine. We will pray along.

I'd be rejoicing if I was her, I hate those things... I can't wait to finish having children and do a tubal ligation.
What an absurdity, you hate the gift of God.

My 17 years old daughter has never seen her period. I was not too worried at 16 I told her our body is different so no need to worry, but she started getting anxious since all her friends already started mensturating. She is currently in 100 level.

I took her to LASUTH, and after several tests, the doctor said she has MRKH that she was born without a womb (uterus).
I didn't show her the results that day, but l have been terrified since she keeps asking for the full results, and I keep lying that the doctor is still reviewing it.

How do I tell a 17 years old that she will never men.stru@ting or carry a pregnancy? She talks about future husbands and children. My heart breaks every time.
Please, parents, how do I have this conversation without scaring her for life?
..take her to a strong prophetic, deliverance and healing church...her problems will be solved

Probably borne in a female body but genetically male. She may need a gender re-assignment surgery and possible uterine transplant. This is a very costly process.

Statistics have proven that women die more from child births than natural causes. So the girl should consider herself lucky because she won't have to worry about going through the risks of pregnancy and child birth.

Nonetheless, her parents should get a second opinion because Nigerian doctors are usually too hasty to give a medical diagnosis which mostly turns out wrong.
No — that statement is not true as written.

Show me the stats.......

How is bleeding every month while experiencing excruciating pains a gift from God? Remember how He cursed women in genesis to be having severe childbearing after Eve gave Adam the forbidden fruit?

And in many parts of the Bible, menstruating women are considered to be unclean, hence we have some churches whereby women are not allowed in during their periods.

AI Overview +6 A girl born without a uterus (and often the upper vagina) is typically diagnosed with Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome, also known as Müllerian agenesis or aplasia. This congenital condition occurs in approximately 1 in 4,500 to 5,000 females, who have normal ovaries and external female characteristics.Key Aspects of MRKH Syndrome:Definition: A rare congenital disorder where the Müllerian ducts fail to develop properly, resulting in a missing or underdeveloped uterus, cervix, and upper vagina.Symptoms & Diagnosis: Often discovered in teenage years due to primary amenorrhea (absence of menstruation).Normal Function: Females with MRKH have normal chromosomes (\(46,XX\)) and functional ovaries that produce eggs and female hormones.Reproduction: While they cannot carry a pregnancy, options for having biological children include IVF with a gestational carrier (surrogacy) or, rarely, uterine transplantation.Other Names: It is sometimes called Congenital Absence of the Uterus and Vagina (CAUV) or Vaginal Agenesis.Management typically involves gynecological consultation to discuss anatomical options for sexual intercourse (such as vaginal dilation) and future fertility options.

People also ask : question and answer

What happens if a female is born without a uterus?
In some cases, women have to undergo surgery to create a vagina that allows for intercourse. In addition, due to the lack of a womb, women are unable to carry their own children, although their ovaries and eggs are intact. Unfortunately, the cause of MRKH is unknown and little research has been done on this condition.

What does a girl with MRKH look like?
Women with MRKH syndrome also have a normal female chromosome pattern (46, XX) with normal ovarian function. Some women may have a hunchback, elevated shoulder blade, smaller jaw, or a short neck. Affected women may not have menstrual periods (primary amenorrhea) due to an absent or underdeveloped uterus.

What does it mean if a girl doesn't have a uterus?
Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome is a disorder that causes the vagina and uterus to be underdeveloped or absent. Because of this, affected women do not have menstrual periods. Often, the first noticeable sign of MRKH syndrome is that menstruation does not begin by age 15 (primary amenorrhea).4 Apr 2025

But it is an Indispensable pains, without it there's no procreation, though God cursed women in the genesis because Eve transgress the commandment of God, but God through the grace in our Lord Jesus Christ promise women safe delivery

1 Timothy 2:13-15 KJV
For Adam was first formed, then Eve. [14] And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. [15] Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

It's best to talk to her about it...

Before she finds out herself. She can explore options like IVF in the future even though she wouldn't be able to carry the baby herself. Or surrogacy.

All hope isn't lost for her.

But talk to her about it!
In her case, only adoption is her option.

You can't produce eggs for surrogacy.

Which safe delivery when many women experience complications during labour to the extent that some succumb to them?

Can we stop spreading misinformation in God's name as if He's our mate? Allow God to rest abeg.

Still, all those women experience excruciating period pains on a monthly basis... I used to miss some tests and exams in varsity because of those pains, I could barely do anything, and you'll tell me they're a gift from God?

How?
Someone who doesn't have a womb.
Where will the eggs come from?

Hi
Stephen0mozzy:
Mehn.... You need to take her to a therapist or female friendly medical doctor who will break the news to her "gradually o". Thats a very heavy truth to find out.... And if you keep her in the dark for too long, she'll go to the hospital by herself one day, and find out by herself.

Phew! I can't even imagine the burden of hiding this.

I pray a miracle happens for her. But she should know.
Thanks for your comforting words and faith expressions.Hmmmm, theres nothing our Great God cannot do.Let your faith be so minute like a grain of mustards seed,He will perfect it.There was this lady in my assembly who has aborted countless times and eventually removed her womb totally,as an ignorant fellow, when it was time for her to marry, brothers were coming after one another because of her beauty, she would not give in to their requests because of her issue.Meanwhile, she was invited by church marriage committee who confronted her and she told them. There was this brother who persistently approached her despite knowing the issue with her.He told her God has instructed me to ask for your hand in marriage. The marriage was conducted,lo and behold, the woman are having three children now. Theres nothing God cannot do,He is your daughter's creator, not man,He is in the business of doing creative miracles of body parts,He will surprise you.Take her to any of these bible believing churches, her life will never remain the same.
