Well, here’s the story:

Three years ago, before Ugo married his then-fiancée, he took the precautionary step of having her sign a comprehensive prenuptial agreement.

At the time, he arranged for her to relocate from Nigeria and join him in the United Kingdom, where he was already established.

When the marriage ultimately broke down and ended in divorce, the prenup proved highly effective in safeguarding Ugo’s personal wealth and assets.

Thanks to the legal protections he had put in place well in advance, his ex-wife was unable to claim a sizable portion of his finances, and his financial position remained largely intact despite the split.

According to Ugo, the situation escalated dramatically when his ex-wife made false accusations of domestic violence (DV) against him during the separation process.

UK authorities conducted a thorough investigation into the claims, ultimately determining that [b]the allegations were unfounded and without merit[/b].

As a direct consequence of these findings, and the fact that her visa status in the UK was tied to the marriage, she was deported back to Nigeria.

She received no significant share of his assets due to the prenup, and she was subsequently deported to Nigeria following the dismissal of her false Domestic Violence claims.

Agreement or contract is agreement or contact anywhere. It is like saying if Nigeria's marriage is valid in the UK.

2 kids entered marriage and then, split. That's the summary of it.

I doubt these prenup stories.

If they had kids, I doubt they will deport the mum. UK social services will defer to the woman per child custody.

This story is very fake.

No where was it mentioned were the prenuptial contract was signed or where the marriage certificate was issued......however,if a Nigerian marriage certificate can be recognised over there and for a divorce matter to have been entertained,then a marriage certificate would have been tendered as eveidence and the legal basis for the union in the first place and if that certificate was issued in Nigeria, then the legal prenuptial contract would also stand if signed in Nigeria......i noh be lawyer o but I just feel its commonsense.
