do4luv14:You read what you're responding to at all? Chris making it seem "sacrificing his career = being at Afcon" becomes moot because after all he was the bench while AFCON was on. Therefore his missing AFCON didn't secure his career. |

Genoa's Chief of Football Diego Lopez is keeping track of full-backs. Ryan Alebiosu is one of three candidates. [@TuttoMercatoWeb] #BRFC | #Rovers | #Genoa |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 4:53pm On May 12 |
Genoa, Rangers, etc... Alebiosu has loads of suitors from Topflight leagues. At least, he would be playing topflight football in 2026/27 season, somehow. Papi85: |

Clinton Jephta scored again for Finnish Veikkausliiga League leaders, FC Inter Turku in their 8-0 win vs JS Hercules in Round 5 of the Finnish Soumen FA Cup. 2 goals, 1 assist in all competitions across 4 games since his move. |

TheSuperNerd:I think a move to Genoa which is a stable team in Serie A will be good for him |

I was about to reply same thing. Elyte89 is shifting the goalposts of the discussion. Lol The World Cup Miss still hurts so I can understand but some of us have moved on by now. I dont know about Elyte but I will enjoy the 2026 tournament devoid of envy coz Nigeria will be back. Odunayaw: |

In hindsight, I also wish Akinsanmiro had not gone to the Afcon. ![]() But uhmmm... On Maduka Okoye, no be sacrifice people dey talk. It is Commitment to the GWG. I am glad Chelle still played him vs Iran and dropped an "inactive" Nwabali. It sets a standard. Okoye is in very good form now and the June friendlies will afford him more chances to claim the #1 shirt with Nwabali still yet to get a clubside. Time will tell if he can. ChrisKels: |

If there is a way to cast 2 votes, Bankygee and Papi85 aka Charlesemeka85 take it for me. But the rules say one and picking either of these would seem like I dont appreciate the other but please, I assure all that it is not so. Please bear with me. This is hard but my one vote goes to Papi85 aka Charlesizio Emekano. Even though he can be very annoying sometimes. ![]() Naturally, I should be biased and pick Banky but I pick Charles to send a message. I may not agree with you on certain takes like "Seriki & hausa league" or "Onyedika" but I still appreciate the consistent efforts you make in here even as a father of twins to update the thread. My vote for you is almost as good as what I would give to Banky but since it is one, then fine. NB: Lelion, Kudos again for the initiative. I am surprised you brought it back. Well done and cheers. |
