The case study was 30 mins if I recall correctly. We had 30 mins to read the brief and prepare our presentation. For fact finding it was shorter (again assuming I recall correctly as this was 10-11 years ago). Maybe 20 mins. I don't remember the timing for the Group exercise because that was the first task and pressure wanted to finish my life for that task.

We also had a competency based interview back in the day. The last set of GTs did not have a CBI so it might no longer be part of the AC

The most important advice I’ve got for you is to just be yourself (that’s the mantra you’ll be preaching very soon don’t worry 😂).

But really, no pressure, NLNG or not, we’ll surely be alright.

P.S: eat enough o, whether tea break or lunch, they don’t assess your eating portions.

Good luck bro. And like I said earlier, hopefully second time is a charm.

Regarding your PS note, that cannot be emphasised enough. I was so “scared” they were evaluating out “portions” that I barely ate properly. To you lots doing AC, eat well. The process is mentally draining and you will need as much energy as you can get. Eat the light breakfast on offer (I’d say stay away from the coffee so you are pressed). Eat lunch well cos you are going to be at AC until around 4pm.

Good luck once again to all prospects. I can’t wait for the outpouring of your experience once AC is finished 😀

Trust me. That’s how it is. People who have not written AC will be urging those who have; to talk about it. Even getting angry that they are “covering their work”. When they themselves have gone through the AC process, super glue will somehow “gum their mouth shut”. They suddenly become mute and don’t know how to talk again. That AC process is BRUTAL in every sense. It’s mentally, physically and psychologically tasking.

We did other things…. Vibes and InshaAllah
We went home😂😂😂😂

Not surprising sha... Anybody sharing is putting themselves and others at a disadvantage. Those who haven't participated yet are sharp guys-everyone who made it to the AC, to be honest-who will milk any drop of info given out to their advantage

For anyone applying to NLNG or similar big-company roles: do not use a generic CV. Mirror the vacancy language where it is true for you, especially around safety, reporting, compliance, engineering tools, and stakeholder work. Your first page should explain fast why you fit this exact role.
