Divided opposition supports APC. INEC does not count opposition votes together. Unless this later leads to a runoff between the top two, but I doubt this happening because pdp will still be on the ballot.

Divided opposition supports APC. INEC does not count opposition votes together. Unless this later leads to a runoff between the top two, but I doubt this happening because pdp will still be on the ballot.

Since opposition is already divided by the ruling party, the best bet is to create oppositions within their own strongholds.

APM will deal some blows to some votes that would have traditionally gone to APC.

With Tinubu fighting El Rufai, the only man capable of checking RMK in NW, he should forget Northern bulk votes.

Northerners have nothing to lose.

If Tinubu wins, power returns to North in 2031. If Obi wins, they have the VP and power still returns to the North in 2031, if Atiku wins, power returns to the North in 2027 and stays in the north in 2031.

So whats the incentive to vote for Tinubu in 2027

By 2022, many believed Orji Kalu would become the next Senate President. But remember, 2031 is still five years away a lot can change before then. By that time, Bala Mohammed and Makinde may not hold the same level of influence. And truth be told, it’s widely acknowledged that Makinde is unlikely to win a presidential election
