Atiku Doesn't Believe In Zoning, So Let's Go To The Primary - Rotimi Amaechi by fergie001(mod): 10:00pm On May 18
Anchor: Do you believe in zoning?

Amaechi: Yes and No. Yes, because I believe Nigeria is not yet a United entity. So, if it's the turn of the South, it's the turn of the South but Vice President Atiku says he doesn't believe in zoning, so okay, let's go to the Primary.

Anchor: Don't you believe Hayatu-deen could step down for Atiku Abubakar?

Amaechi: I wish them luck. Let me repeat this, there is a colleague of mine I told be careful, if Tinubu wins in 2023, you will go to jail. He is there now. I went to an elderly man in Buhari's Government, if Tinubu wins it won't be easy, and I saw him now he is suffering. The same way I am pleading with my colleagues and friends from the North, let's not play North and South politics, I don't like it, let's not do it. I want to copy former President Obasanjo, he is a Nationalist. You might not like him, I had disagreements with him, but he is a Nigerian President, not a Yoruba President.

Atiku only believes in Zoning when it favours him

Dass all.

But Tinubu supporters who are mostly closest tribalists do not like Obasanjo. To them Obasanjo is not Yoruba enough and they hate him with all their strength

But the one that claims he is yoruba enough, his region is nearly over ran by terrorists with school kidnapping happening. As in unbelievable. While the so called yoruba president is helpless

I trust OBJ. Obasanjo's shoot at sight at members of the OPC who went haywire in the early 2000's nipped the crises in the bud once and for all.

I know that Amaechi will finally become his running mate. That's exactly what he has always wanted. This is going to be an easy victory for Tinubu

Atiku is the most fool.ish politician ever in Nigeria.

Instead of allowing the south to complete their 8 years before handing over to the North. Now it's going to be kwankwaso taking over immediately after Obi's 8 years

It’s obvious that Amaechi will become Atiku’s vice in the absence of any credible candidate but Nigerians will decide who will win las las.

Obi has said times without number that he’s only going to serve one term and moreover, his party, NDC has already settled the issue of zoning; power will go back to the north in 2031

Re: Atiku Doesn't Believe In Zoning, So Let's Go To The Primary - Rotimi Amaechi by DeLaRue:
If Mr Amaechi believes the Presidency should remain in the South, then if he loses the ADC primary, I don't believe he wiill agree to be Mr Atiku's VP candidate.

If that plays out, then there will be zero chance of the ADC winning 25% of votes in any Southern state.

That means, in the Presidential election, even if Mr Atiku wins in the majority of Northern states, he cannot not be declared winner.

The departure of Mr Obi dealt a massive blow to the ADC in the South.

If Mr Amaechi refuses to be Mr Atiku's vp candidate, ADC's prospects for 2027 will be further diminished.

Is it Emefiele or Malami he's referring to?
I agree with him, Nigeria truly needs a Nigerian President.
