No one will vote for Anioma State before Aba State unless the new state is added to the Southeast. Nigeria is not ready for a seventh state in the South-South region, especially considering that the Southwest has six states while the Southeast only has five.

In as much as I know you are not from Anioma, I still hold Anioma people responsible if they miss this golden opportunity to get a state of their own. South east, South South is just semantics the main focus is to get a state.

The worst thing that can happen to your Ibo collective identity and expansionist movement is for Anioma state creation to go on and the path set for a referendum on two issues to be determined being :

1. Anioma state creation

2. Anioma to be ceded to the SE.
