Yahaya is yet to be convicted. He stands accused and has not been found guilty.

Orji Kalu was duly convicted but he appealed his conviction on the grounds that the judge who convicted and sentenced him, had been promoted to the Appeal court on the day of his sentencing.

Note that the Appeal court did not set aside his conviction or had him discharged and acquitted .

Rather, the Appeal court ordered a retrial which the EFCC is yet to file for again.

That same Orji with all the corruption case and conviction was still voted into the senate and none of you complained .

But when it involves others , Una mouth go long.

Charity begins at home.

All of them are in your party.
How they maneuver their ways to be where they are is a question u should those in authority.
To the best of my knowledge vote doesn't count.

If Orji is in the Senate it means since he has decamped to APC his sins has been washed away.
If Yayaha Bello is still working freely after the allegations that was being roped around him then we have to blame the EFCC for bringing it to the public when they were not sure of the allegations.

To the best of our knowledge Kalu, Ifeanyi, Bello are only enjoying that privilege of being in a corrupt ruling party.

If somebody like u can not see anything that is wrong about that well, that is ur decision

Theodore Orji is the only politician to have contested and stood for an election while in detention.

How about that?

Then we can also point to Trump who had 34 convictions before a Federal circuit court in New York.

His sentence was delayed because Trump won the Presidential elections.

As much as I am sad about this event, I will not respond EMOTIONALLY.

Does our “constitution” exclude any convicted or indicted criminal or those with pending criminal cases from being a senator?

If the constitution doesn’t, then he is free to contest and face an election process. If he wins goodluck to him and bad luck to his electorate.

This demands a review of the relevant sections of the constitution to block this loophole.

There is also a question about the morality of our people and the value system of our country.

Nigerians should (my opinion only) stop having children until the country is overhauled. The country is a hell on earth for the common man and woman.

You see how APC primary vote counting is going. 1, 2, 5, 10, 100, 101, 102, 120, 121, 200! The people already know the country is a cruise. A Country of Particular Concern.

He wins the election while his court case drags, he gets immunity for four years, he leaves office the case is reopened, while the court keeps adjourning the case, he contest for another position and wins, he gets immunity again at the end, the case is forgotten

So sad,someone who should be in custody wants to be a Senator, this is an insult to democracy.
