Kingsley Chinda emerges Rivers APC Governorship Candidiate by TruthsFM(op): 7:18am On May 21

House of Representative Member Kingsley Ogundu Chinda has emerged as APC Governorship candidate for Rivers state.

The APC Governorship primaries committee announced the emergence of Chinda at the State Party Secretariat in Port Harcourt.
Chinda polled 268,497 votes to emerge candidate.

Yesterday, incumbent Governor Sim Fubara, Alabo George-Kelly and Tonye Cole announced their withdrawal from the primaries leaving Chinda as the only aspirant.

When Bamidele Ogundipe cowardly ran away , it resulted in civil war.
When Good luck Jonathan cowardly allowed Buhari to bully him, Nigeria descended into this mess.

BREAKING: Dax George-Kelly has withdrawn from the Rivers State APC governorship primary scheduled for today.

With his withdrawal, OK Chinda is now set to become the APC consensus governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Rivers State.

Where I fault him is his joining APC
Most of those calling Fubara names can't even fight back against their employers but are here saying Fubara should have fought the president, supreme court and the House all at once!
But in all these, I'm surprised Wike is surrendering Rivers to APC
I thought since his PDP is now "authentic" his anointed will come from there.

Yea he’s a sissy. If he’s to fight , under whose leadership/opposition? Same Atiku that’s Only interested in becoming the president and getting every party’s ticket or obi that doesn’t even care to look out for the folks that followed him to ADC and many of them are trapped in the party now because he just care about himself and only to become the president.

When NASS members/governors had issues with GEJ 2014/2015 before the election it was because they had the backing of a united opposition and great leaders then. Today el-rufai is there, none of them is even talking about him so na Fubara you wan make he fight. Na you go help am with the fight? When he was asked to vacate his position for months, nobody talk anything o. All of una be clown abeg.

As ruthless as OBJ was in his second tenure, there were battles he didn’t win because he met United oppositions looking out for each other not the clowns out there today.

Fubara did the right thing, he should go home and restrategize. We don’t know what 2031 holds.
