Don't you know he has investments all over Monaco, Europe and UAE? He has estate investments in Monaco too and that's the reason he frequent Monaco. He also recently acquired another big estate in the UK. I think Otedola is diversionary businessman, he's not restricted to commodity business like Dangote but always looking at a fast opportunity to invest and get your proceeds within some years. He built geregu power plants but sold it already to invest in something bigger (Dangote refinery). He's an astute, smart and volatile shrewed businessman. Eriokanmi: |

BeautifulMind2:Ogbeni, answer my question. You don pass WAEC maths and English? 🤔 Person wey don pass WAEC Maths suppose know say 100 million is not necessarily a big deal to someone that has over a billion in assets. Person wey don pass WAEC English go dey construct grammar and spelling wey dey much better than wetin a primary school student dey write. Lastly, person wey know as money dey work go know say wealthy people don’t have their net worth in cash. They have their money invested and have to sell assets and investments all the time for various uses. Also, e be like say you no know say na banks give Tony the money wey he use invest in Seplat. Afreximbank and AFC lent him that money. Enter the same Google and search. Na wa o. |

I know you were triggered by my comment and I ask again, which of the Clowns you listed is recognised by Forbes? The world organisation that rate all billionaires in the world there are countless numbers of silent billionaires in Yorubaland not recognised by Forbes but does it mean they are not also billionaires in their right? Is just like you claiming to be the highest scorer in jamb but when the list of jamb highest scorer emerged, your name is missing on the list😂😂😂😂😂 bikonu is too early to be slow ![]()

| Re: Otedola To Invest $100m In Dangote Refinery by Conservarmy: 10:03am On May 21 |
Wotowotoman:Dangote was not worth 40 billion when he started the refinery. He was worth less than 18 billion. Billionaire don't use their own money to do projects, they obtain international loan to finance projects. Otedola can do the same, the guy just don't have the drive. |

Conservarmy:And banks will not ask him for equity contribution? Ogbeni, if you no sabi as things dey work in the real world, just waka pass and let those that know talk. Haba. Which kind wahala be this? ![]() |
| Re: Otedola To Invest $100m In Dangote Refinery by lawani(m): 11:35am On May 21 |
Conservarmy:He can as the most recent just built refinery cost 470 million dollars in Angola and it is 30,000 BPD but I guess no pipelines. However he did not have the vision and if he starts now, it will take years to finish. This is why Dangote must be commended. Merely building the refinery doubled Dangote's net worth but he will not be able to succeed unless they ban imports for him like they banned cement. He can't succeed in a free market if he owns the refinery ninety percent the way he owns the cement business simply because he is owing banks at high interests. The companies in the cement sector in Nigeria too will have to change ownership structure if the ban on importation is lifted |

| Re: Otedola To Invest $100m In Dangote Refinery by Conservarmy: 12:49pm On May 21 |
Wotowotoman:Look this is not your typical beer parlour non sense where you and your kind think the opposite way. Otedola doesn't have to build up to the same capacity as dangote. The point here is that rather than him investing in dangote refinery, he can do it aswell. Some people just don't want to take the risk, they prefer easy route. £1 billion can build a 21,000 barrels per day refinery capacity. With his net worth standing at $1.4 billion, he can easily raise a loan and seek partners for a refinery. |

8 Conservarmy:If Dangote Refinery is already meeting Nigerias Domestic Fuel consumption needs Where's the logic in building another refinery?? Otedola can face the power sector from generation down to distribution if he's serious and government is willing. Imho |

| Re: Otedola To Invest $100m In Dangote Refinery by Conservarmy: 2:16pm On May 21 |
Fiyin007:Nigerians economy is growing and it's becoming more demanding. We still need more refinery. Investing in the power sector is not a bad idea. Any form of investment is welcome as long as it benefits the economy and the population at large 👍🏿. |
