Your wife’s work permit remains valid until its expiration date. She is the principal applicant in this matter, and even if she were not, her work permit would still remain valid until expiry. However, upon expiration, she will not be eligible to extend the work permit based on your program. Elboki109: |

The Express Entry platform only provides space to include an accompanying spouse’s work history if the applicant answers “Yes” to the question asking whether the spouse has work experience. Still, an Express Entry profile is not an application, and you were listed as a dependent on that profile. I can’t say more than this. Unpatriotic2: |

FreshFrosh:First option is her only option based on her career profile . She can also apply to Coady as a career teacher and mind you not all Coady program is offered online, they have physical programs which you can do in Canada and transfer the credit into an accredited University. I have and i know many people who have gone thru that route. However, their admission application is lenghty, competitive and takes patient. As for the first option, she can apply into a Uni or college that offers bible/Christian courses in advanced level. The rest is to use wisdom in the visa application. Other than that Msc in STEM is her next option if she can prove reason and financial ability beyond doubt. |

ehiremen2002:DIY: will same lots of money at the long run!!If you know how to,as for me I am a zero agent person!! even if it is a registered immigration consultant,I don’t know how to patronise agents ,as far as canada immigration applications is concerned..I have successfully ✋️ handled all my application alone without using agent or immigration consultants.. Which includes" initial study permit +Spouse Open work permit application outside canada.. Multiple in canada study permit + Spouse Open work Permit extensions ..and I as a holder of Spouse Open work Permit! Expression of interest application:province nominee program. Invitation to apply for full application:province nominee program and nomination certificate issued,PNP Nomination on Spouse Open work Permit! Including Permanent residence application. If I was using agents only in canada applications would have cost me including spouse application not less than 10,000 dollars by immigration consultants. |

FreshFrosh:How old is the youngest child? If the youngest child is of daycare age, it may not be easy to convince IRCC that she will be able to study, make enough money to pay international student fees, and also cover daycare expenses. She should focus on coming alone first. I know it’s hard, but leaving the children with family back in Nigeria may be the best option for now. If you are her only sponsor, you should already have her full tuition fees and living expenses saved. If not, you should at least be earning enough every 4 months to cover each term, since each term is usually 4 months. That is how IRCC may look at it. So, if her tuition per term is CAD 9,000, you should be able to save and pay that amount within 4 months. I also see that she is likely going to college since she has an HND. In that case, she may not be able to add her husband later for a spousal open work permit, because currently only master’s and PhD students are generally eligible. In my opinion, you should focus on bringing her first, and over time she can bring her children later. |

Hey guys! I’ve been following this page for a long time, and I have a question. I have a BSc in Agriculture, and now I’m interested in studying a vocational program in Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics. My concern is how I can combine my agriculture background with heavy duty equipment mechanics. Although my bachelor’s degree is not engineering-related, I have a lot of practical experience in automotive engineering from before my degree, even though it’s not professional or certificate-based. I’m genuinely interested in this field because I know I perform well in engineering and technical work. I would really appreciate any advice or guidance from people with experience in this area. Please help a brother in need. |

walex222:You will need to proof and explain to the VO why you switched. If it makes sense to them, you are good to go |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by amnotapervert(m): 6:53pm On May 22 |
Kossyfelicia:No, if you pay the $5,000 CAD, it will not be deducted from your fees .....it will be added to my own account 😂😂😂 when I become a student of RRC POLYTECH MEDICAL Assistant ....just joking I believe someone has answered you but just wanted to add a little comedy to it |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by amnotapervert(m): 6:58pm On May 22 |
walex222:Calm down brother You are on the right track. Studying agriculture can still make sense because modern agriculture heavily relies on tractors, harvesters, excavators, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other heavy equipment. So, all you are telling IRCC is that studying a vocational program in Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics is to help you work in the agricultural field. You know how best to word it and tell your story during statement of purpose, but those two fields are interconnected. |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by PhdCloakRoom(m): 9:44pm On May 22*. Modified: 6:52am On May 23 |
walex222:Hello. You wont be granted that visa if your current employer is not sending you to go for the vocational program in Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics while upon graduation you re returning to work and become part of the training officers for the future employees. Or you have a CAC and evidence of the company (heavy duty equipment mechanic training centre) you established but only wanted to go for the training and return to become one of the training managers. Any positive respond aside this will only give you ginger to proceed with the impending failed study visa application. |

Good morning. Thank you all for the help so far. 1. If I have an express entry profile, can I input the UCI number in the study permit form? It is asking for UCI number. 2. In the section asking for any previous application to come to or remain in Canada, if I have had an express entry profile in the past, can I state it there? Please note that I once got an ITA that I didn't proceed with. Or can I just stay silent on it. 3. Then can I use the same GCI account I used for my express entry for study permit? 4. Also, if I apply with kids and they are refused, will the refuse my study permit too? 5. What is the possible timeframe to start application to bring family in after I arrive Canada on study permit? (If I don't travel with them immediately) |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by PhdCloakRoom(m): 10:12am On May 23 |
Omoniyimi12345:1. Yes. 2. State it. 3. No. Open another account for your study visa. 4. No. The reason (s) for refusal of your kids might be different. You may not prove the biological father of the kids beyond doubt, etc. 5. After the successfull completion of the school 1st term. Honesty is the beginning of your study permit success. They have your profiles. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Predator188: 2:42pm On May 23 |
Omoniyimi12345:Use same GCI account of express entry for study permit if you wish to,won't make any difference either if you create multiple accounts!! The number asigned to the EE without submitting pr application is not UCI number that can be used on study permit application or any application, unless you have previously submitted application to IRCC in the past and issued a UCI number, on the application form Leave it blank, otherwise this may cause delay in processing.. Note: those forms are sensitive.. ![]() |

A lot of ppl used this thread to ask questions during their application process, but once their application gets approved, they disappear. Some arrive in Canada, drop their trip story, and disappear. To everyone who continues supporting people and helping others achieve their goals, even after getting to Canada, God bless you. You are the real Gs. |
