Disgraceful set of people, this is the result of a culture without values or morality. Last year I was here telling these fools how Thailand of last year won’t be the same this year onwards. First they reduced visa for all countries and still your low IQ brain still think they will leave you lots operating as usual. If dem born any of you well try walking for Sukhumvit road from now till next month, ordinary boxers you no go carry go naija.

Nigeria is a scam country. We have a fraud president and the citizens are fraudulent too. The spoil is from the top and Tinubu should be blamed.

In a family if a child goes astray the father bears the brunt of being a weak man and so is Teanubu.
Seeee “Excuse “

Extremely SHAMELESS PPL!!!

Almost on every corner of the streets will you see “Nigerians” openly advertising their merchandise. The place almost looked like Alaba before they got them last year, now they are regrouping again but the new AI face detection is working overtime to round them up. Saddest thing is Bangkok itself is one of the most visited cities in the world, so you can imagine most people first impressions of Nigerians.

Poor guys, why don't they just come back home? It is not so bad here, never mind the hype

The problem is the culture that drives it into their brain that everyone that leaves the shore of Nigeria has to be not just successful but be the most successful in their respective villages. Most are working around with tattered jeans and slippers (you can smell them from the next street), all in the name of building a mansion in the village. There is no telling the housefly why honey is sweeter than f@ece5, they will always choose the cowards way everytime.

Obi is not lying on this and it's a common practice in UK its not a special thing.

Yes, it is possible — but it is usually more nuanced than “just educational background.”
Peter Obi was likely referring to a type of lending system common in countries like the UK where banks may assess:
Educational qualifications
Professional history
Income potential
Credit score/history
Employment stability
Reputation and financial behavior
instead of relying only on physical collateral like land or buildings.
For example, in the United Kingdom:
A medical doctor, lawyer, accountant, or graduate from a strong university may qualify for unsecured loans more easily.
Startups and young professionals can sometimes get business or personal loans based on projected earning capacity and creditworthiness.
Banks heavily use credit scoring systems and financial records.
That said, banks still usually check:
Your income
Your repayment history
Your bank transactions
Existing debts
Visa/residency status (if applicable)
So it is rarely “education only.” Education may improve trust and earning projections, reducing the need for hard collateral.
This differs from many Nigerian lending practices, where banks often demand:
landed property,
guarantors,
fixed assets,
or large deposits,
because of higher default risks, weaker credit databases, and economic instability.
So Peter Obi’s statement is broadly believable in principle, especially for certain professional or unsecured loan products in the UK.
Lolzzzzz 🤣

Same way you'd think people are being shot down on the street everywhere in US - you'd then be wondering why people are dying to move there. It is the media and social media.
It's NOT nearly as bad as they make it seem

Dual Nationality goes a long way. Thai police do a good job of identifying the real source of the problem from Nigeria ( there is a famous video of a Thai cop specifically describing the problem squad), they have a lot of them in custody and have monitored their operations for years that they can tell who is who, at the end of the day your dressing and behavior will distinguish you from such crowd, believe it or not there are other black folk of different backgrounds who visits and run businesses in the country but just one specific group is on a mission to paint everyone bad. As for why they do not come back only them and their low self esteem not to be see as failures can really explain that.

Every country has it own problems, some more than others, why are we determined to recreate the same environment in Nigeria where ever we go? Experiencing the “not so bad” in Nigeria is way better than the constant international embarrassment. Only a criminal apologist would shift the blame of individuals on the entire country.

WHY CAN'T THESE BASTARDS TRADE LEGIT OR DO BUSINESS IF THEY WANT TO MAKE MONEY?

NO VALUES, NO CONSIDERATION FOR OTHERS, NO CONSCIENCE.

JUST GOING ROUND THE WORLD CHEATING AND DESTROYING OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES JUST TO MAKE MONEY!

WHAT SORT OF VANDALS RAISED YOU?

BETTER RETURN TO YOUR TRADITIONAL RELIGION WHICH STRESSED MORALITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY.

NOT THIS ROTTEN CHRISTIANITY YOU PRACTICE WHERE YOU CAN COMMIT ATROCITIES AND ABOMINATIONS OF ALL KINDS, AND SIMPLY CALL ON SOME FAKE "JESUS" AND EVERYTHING IS SETTLED.

SAME AS ISLAM. COMMIT ATROCITIES AND CALL MUHAMMED, AND IT'S OVER.

THAT'S THE NUMBER 1 REASON FOR ALL THIS CRIMINALITY, FROM CORRUPTION TO BANDITRY TO KIDNAPPING TO DRUG TRAFFICKING TO SCAMMING TO FRAUD.

CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM WHICH TELL OUR PEOPLE THAT WHATEVER THEY DO IS JUST FINE SO LONG AS THEY "ACCEPT" THEIR FAKE, USELESS WHITE AND ARAB DEITIES AS THEIR "SAVIOURS".

UTTER RUBBISH!!
