Can Anyone Raised By Atheists, Versed In Science, Become A Christian?

Many irreligious people believe and usually claim that anyone who is a Christian, was brought up by Christian parents and have little or no knowledge of science otherwise they won't believe, however Dr Sarah Salviander, a Christian apologist, proved all their assertions wrong with the following post on X:

As a Christian, I've heard it all from nonbelievers...

"You just believe what your parents told you"

"You must not know any science"

"Your faith has not been tested"

Well...

I was raised an atheist.

I have a PhD in science.

I have lost a child and have cancer.

I am still a believer.

Therefore it's very possible for someone brought up by atheists parents and with sound knowledge of science to become a Christian, and the above quoted Christian apologist, with a PhD in science and atheist upbringing, is yet another proof of that.

She even experienced some serious personal setbacks as a Christian, such as losing a child and having cancer, yet she still choose to stick with Jesus, to show that despite all the knowledge and (scientific) degrees she's acquired in life, she's learnt that Jesus Christ is still the best option for her.

Yes it is possible because; A parent role is to birth a child and mold that child behavior according to that child gender identity however society are the once that completely shape the world view and life perception of that child.

So a parent influence and home training is limited to a degree such that, if a father tells his daughter not to mixed with the wrong men so she don't get pregnant, that is valid but a father can never force down his belief system or personal values into his daughter because that child is another person entirely and has to learn the world on her own, even if the child complies with the father, it's only limited for the duration that child spends under their parents roof.

So yes, Atheist parents can have kids who turned out to be believers just like my parents who are fundamental believers raised me who turned out to be Atheist.

actually i would say anyone raised in a home where there is some level of fanaticism is more likely to deviate because the controversy and dogma and double standards are starker

Freedom is freedom. And you have to find and create it yourself.

It's different from worshipping or believing in the supreme God (Not Jesus pls). Which does not guarantee any protection against life and it's challenges

The bible said in psalm 52 :1 the fool said in his heart there's no God and have done abominable things God hate...she was a fool but through education and wisdom from God ,she became wise and a believer In her own creator ...Atheist is like a child that grows up to dis own his own parents and say they don't exist....God created you in your mothers womb and you grew up only to deny his existence..what a foolery...but your eyes will clear when u open your eyes to eternity when the body dies

Go read "God is not great" by Chris Hitchens and free yourself from the mental slavery of an invented religion.

You don't need the threat of punishment from a God to be a decent person. To have that mindset means you are a poseur.
