Things took a nasty turn around 2014/2015
I bought a big cow that December 2014 for 132k. The following year, same size had jumped to over 500k. Right now , same size goes for around 2m.
You can't even get medium size goat for 60k in Lagos. You go waka small ooo

As for the price of the rams I don't know if it is a fair deal... 800k for the three splits the amount for each to roughly 266k. The last time I bought a ram it was around 40k for a full mature bigger looking ram than the ones you posted years ago.


I understand the economic realities of the country is different now. But I wasn't expecting the gap to be that wide sincerely. Some years ago that 266k was the price of a very big cow.

My step-mother sells Ram and she travels to the North to get it, at least she goes to the North once a week.

I used to gift her a Bag of Rice and 25kg of vegetable oil.

Hopefully next year God will bless me and I will start giving her Ram... Note that all her kids are richer. But I play the elderly role which I am.

Honestly, your step-mother loves you and means well for you. Unfortunately, your mother seems not to like the cordial relationship between you and your step-mother.

I advise that you desist from telling your mother such things next time.

You need to seriously appreciate your step mom. These 3 rams will easily sell for at least 1m.

260k rams are way smaller than this,even in the state capitals of many northern states.
