Hehehe Bola is more interested in politics than governance. Muhammadu Buhari secured 3,430 votes at the 2014 All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention to emerge as the party's presidential flagbearer for the 2015 elections. Later, for his 2019 re-election bid, he was affirmed via voice vote after polling 14,842,072 direct primary votes across Nigeria. Unlike the 2014 competitive delegate system, the APC adopted a direct primary system in October 2018. Party members nationwide voted in their states, yielding 14,842,072 votes for Buhari as the sole aspirant. These figures were officially announced and ratified by a celebratory voice vote at Eagle Square, Abuja. 2019 Voting Breakdown and Results Muhammadu Buhari (APC): 15,191,847 votes (55.6% of valid votes). Atiku Abubakar (PDP): 11,262,978 votes (41.2% of valid votes). Culled from the internet. Lies lies lies In real-world human data, a minor challenger will almost always accidentally or intentionally secure a handful of votes across thousands of polling locations due to local protest votes, errors, or family ties. Perfect "zero-vote" sweeps across massive populations are a classic hallmark of data that has been manually written into a spreadsheet rather than organically counted from ballot boxes. In 2019, the total number of delegates who voted for and against Ambode (1,043,754) was more than the number of votes in the election (956,220). Buhari is indeed underrated as a democrat. He was not a good President but I must give him credit for being a democrat. He indeed was for everybody and for nobody. There should be a law that if 50% of your members didn’t vote in the primaries, the primaries should be null and void due to lack of quorum |

I sometimes wonder if you guys are paid to defend the government and party in power or you’re paid to be blatantly stupid. Even if you’re doing your APC/Tinubu media job, the least we expect of you is to at least try and make sense. Give us something logical to ponder on. Lithiumite: |

Makes absolutely no difference those apc members might still end up voting for opposition candidates on election day due to how apc treated them during their primary elections. |

You do not need to be a registered party member to vote in the election, you only need to be a registered member to contest an election. The number of registered members does equate to votes. Which party has more registered members than Obedients or Kwankwasiya? |

Number of registered members doesn't really matter in GENERAL elections , because OBI was able to pull almost 6 million votes with lesser membership figure |
| Re: Number Of Registered Members Of Leading Political Parties In Nigeria by Gbadugbakun(m): 7:06pm On May 25 |
I'm not a member of any party but I'll vote next year. All those registered members stuff is just rubbish. 70% of active voters and student voters are not registered to any party yet they'll vote because they're above 18 and have a voters card |
