lbrichman2:Like last years Unity cup. They were very exceptional but that didn't translate into our Qualifiers games. Even the CHAN team under Chelle were little less impressive. |

Alhassan Yusuf doesn't get enough credit for how good and composed he is, Onyedika gets all the hype but I think Alhassan is the better player tbh |

Philip Otule is not ready to battle Simon for that position. |

SymphonyRad:This is a very good observation. For someone who now plies his trade in the USA. He clearly is the better player in midfield |

A stark warning letter to Ebenezer Akinsamiro. I really hate when talented young men begin to feel entitled and big when they have actually not achieved anything in their craft. You were signed by Inter Milan, and that demonstrated your quality, but so far your career has not progressed and translated to the player everybody thought you were two years ago. You went on loan to the Serie B team Sampdoria, and you failed to establish yourself in the first team. You have now failed to establish yourself on the first team of what is essentially a Serie B team in Pisa. You were called to the AFCON, and you failed to get a single minute at the actual competition, and the time has come when somebody needs to tell you the truth. You need to sit up, reevaluate yourself, humble yourself, and start to take your career seriously. You are as talented a player as Mikel, and whether you come anywhere close to the achievements of Mikel Obi will be down to your attitude. I love you as a player, and I want the best for you, but you are fucking up big time. Pisa played their Serie A game on Friday; you should have been in the Super Eagles camp on Saturday morning, willing to bust your ass and earn the respect of Eric Chelle. Your teammate Rafiu Durosinmi was in camp days before you. You have once again been omitted from today's squad, and I will be shocked if you see another minute of action for the Super Eagles in this Unity Cup. What exactly is wrong with you? Dude, you need to sit up and start taking your career seriously. I am really pissed because I know how talented you are, and it really pisses me off seeing you essentially self-destructing yourself out of the Super Eagles setup. The next time you are given an opportunity to come and represent Nigeria under Eric Chelle, be the first dude in camp. |

Alhassan Yusuf has been well spoken of here by me as the Midfield Sultan but it was all watered down simply because he left Europe for the MLS. The lad still got that dog in him. His engine and midfield class is still one I reckon with despite playing in America. Alhassan and Onyedika have their qualities but Alhassan is more intense and covers more ground. SymphonyRad: |
