I’m in the UK driving around even at midnight, bushes everywhere, and I feel safe and secure, no kidnappers or armed robbers. A lot of Nigerians are migrating abroad because of how things are getting harder. To defend Nigeria is a difficult task, look at our healthcare centres, roads flooded, insecurity is terrible. Imagine a school teacher in Oyo state beheaded on camera.Source:

A lot of Nigerians are migrating abroad because of how things are getting harderWhen living life peacefully is becoming impossible in Nigeria, The very first thing Nigerians think of doing is Japa! Let me tell you why. They prefer doing that than following the usual keypad warrior advice of brain54 below... brain54:....because they know that unity in Nigeria is impossible. With a few cartons of indomie and a bag of rice, or a fake news that one tribe is burning the shop and house of another tribe, politicians can turn a peaceful nationwide protest into chaos and anarchy. They know the right buttons to push to disunite us because they know who nigerians really are, a group of people who named a generator "I beta pass my neighbour". |

Daddy Freeze wants everyone to see him as that man who is apolitical. They should continue until the day insecurity will hit them. It's only in a country like Nigeria where a failure like Tinubu will be proud to seek a reelection. It's despicable that this country has no leadership standards whatsoever! |

Majority of the Agbadorians who sing Tinubu's praises have never traveled out of Nigeria to places where the system works. |

Our leaders have failed in many areas, but we Nigerians have also enabled bad leadership with our actions. We vote based on tribe and religion instead of competence, defend politicians even when they fail, celebrate corruption when our own people benefit, and attack anyone who speaks the truth against them. We complain about insecurity and bad governance, yet many of us still promote division, hate, and selfish interests over national progress. Countries develop when citizens hold leaders accountable collectively, not when they support failure because of tribal or political loyalty. Nigeria’s problem is not just bad leaders, but a society that often enables them. |

I was telling someone who told me Nigerians earn more than the Nigerians in the diaspora that with that #1m monthly can you boast of a regular power supply, security constant power supply that we enjoy here in abroad. @Diamond098454 listen to this attentively. |

I went out today and everywhere was unusually dry. No celebration vibe, even the usual rams I see people slaughter in my area, nothing dey sup. Things are really hard. Yet some people still defend this evil no matter what. At some point, we need to stop supporting leaders based on tribe, party, or emotions and start looking at the actual condition of the country. How market for those still defending this hardship? |

Ah you might not know what security means except u leave Nigeria. In UK i can work even 1am at night i do it mostly No fear. There was times I used to guard heavy machines and site inside the forest with no guns or knife just touch light. I mean inside forest where the next house is like an hour drive. Call police and they are there like 5mins. No fear nothing. Nigeria is like jungle and its crazy how APC has normalised insecurities as a normal thing and Nigerians are getting along with it |

Dear Nairaland Mods, Stop giving unfortunate people your front page for audience. This dude Freeze asides from being an opportunistic person is very irresponsible. Ask him where his children from his first marriage are ? They literally dispised him like feaces and have refused to let him come close to them for 11 years. He has the temerity to hijack a fellow man's wife and flaunts the "after 3" as a price after he refused a court order to iay N5m for committing adultery. If there is any entertainer or broadcaster or OAP I personally detest, this Freeze is the no 1 on that list. |

PEOPLE LIKE YOU FOOL DADDY GOAT FREEZE, ARE THE PROBLEM. USING UK AS YOUR EXAMPLE. UK WITH A 60 MILLION POPULATION AND AN ANNUAL BUDGET OF $2 TRILLION. WHY WOULD IT NOT BE SAFE? DO YOU KNOW THAT ACCORDING TO AI CALCULATIONS, BRITAIN OWES NIGERIA $50 TRILLION IN REPARATIONS FOR HER LOOTING OF NIGERIA? THAT IS WHY BRITAIN IS RICH AND SAFE TODAY. SHE STOLE FROM US. LONG BEFORE BRITAIN INVADED NIGERIA, BENIN CITY WAS DESCRIBED BY VISITING EUROPEANS OF THE 16TH CENTURY AS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND BEST PLANNED CITIES IN THE WORLD, WITH PALM OIL FUELLED STREETLIGHTS AND UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE, 300 YEARS BEFORE LONDON. A CITY SO SAFE AND SECURE THAT PEOPLE DIDN'T BOTHER BUILDING FRONT DOORS TO THEIR HOUSES BECAUSE "THEFT WAS UNKNOWN". THAT SAME BEAUTIFUL BENIN WAS INVADED, BOMBARDED, LOOTED OF ITS BRONZE TREASURES, AND BURNED TO THE GROUND BY THE BRITISH, WHOSE COUNTRY YOU'RE DRIVING AROUND IN, WHILE INSULTING US. SO INSTEAD OF CHATTING RUBBISH FROM THE SAME COUNTRY ENJOYING OUR $50 TRILLION, WHY DON'T YOU TELL THEM TO REPAY THAT MONEY INTO EVERY NIGERIAN'S ACCOUNT, AND WATCH INSECURITY END THE SAME DAY? DEAL? NEXT TIME IF YOU WANT TO INSULT NIGERIA, DON'T USE UK, BECAUSE THAT IS ADDING INSULT TO INJURY. YOU WILL MAKE A BETTER POINT BY USING A LARGE AFRICAN COUNTRY LIKE PERHAPS ETHIOPIA OR DRC OR EVEN KENYA AS COMPARISON. NOT UK. Okay? |

I just hope we can sustain this TEMPO by turning on the heat on TINUBU'S MISGOVERNANCE. Perhaps another #ENDBADGOVERNMENT PROTEST is loading. Me I don tire to complain about Tinubu's government o. Today is Sallah, I couldn't even travel to my hometown. Car dey, fuel dey, everything dey. But the fear of Bandit is the beginning of wisdom. Person come be like prisoner for Lagos. ![]() |

It is easy for them to call out the government but very difficult for them to also obey rules e.g traffic rules in Nigeria. Why is it that when these celebrities land in advanced countries, their brain resets and the big man mentality they exhibit in Nigeria becomes deflated. Do you people think it is only the government that is culpable of your accusations, people in the grassroots also do worse things and they expect the country to get better. Do you know how many Nigerians will find themselves in custody if the laws were to be applied to the letter. You see pastors in Nigeria illegally tapping electricity for their church, you see lecturers sleeping with their students, judges getting bribed, drivers disobeying traffic rules, over speeding, corruption etc. |

The poor teacher that was beheaded on camera was the height of it. A working president would have called for emergency cabinet meeting but Mr druggie is busy with second term ambition. Shame |

Shey some people are still campaigning for this government na. If not wickedness or a certain level of insanity, how can yhu for any reason at all want this government to continue being in power, despite all the obvious calamities they have brought upon Nigerians? Omo, once I see anybody defending this government, I immediately know what an irredeemable f00l look like. |

Honestly, the insecurity issue is really getting out of hand. I thunk each state needs its own police, or even armed boys scouts sef that can safeguard every community, while there should also be a special police force for highways and forests around communities..Things are really getting out of hand. |
