By now I expect the school authorities to get those students found culpable of this animalistic behaviour towards the noble teachers to be dealt with accordingly because behaviour such as this shouldn’t be found in the four walls of our educational institutions.

It happens everywhere, its no big deal even abroad,we will always gave deviant kids.....it only behives on the appropriate authority to ascertain the course of the rancor and take appropriate disciplinary measures......though teachers can overdo to but nothing justifies this manifestly reprehensible behaviour.
If you know, you know.

That was the most exercise those teachers ever got. Behind those canes are cowards who can be taken down with one punch or just a shove. What in the video shows that it happened in Nigeria? I’m quick to guess it happened in Kenya or Uganda. Those kids were fully grown men, at least eighteen years of age. See that guy’s body. He don mature finish. Na those types dey deafen students from ordinary slap.
Teachers are not Criminals and Boxers, like most of the empty-head-students you are supporting.
They are trained to teach, not to fight their students but unfortunately, the School System accept all manners of Children that lack Home training.
From the tone of your language, one can imagine you doing the same thing in your secondary school days.
Any student that beats his or her teacher, just like beating one's Parents, in heaping a life-long curse on him or herself.
Good day Nairalanders, Parents, and Students.

There is a highly disturbing 48-second video making waves across social media right now, and it has sparked a massive debate on the state of discipline and moral standards in Nigerian secondary schools.

According to the reports and viral clips, a group of final-year SS3 students were caught on camera actively grappling, clashing, and allegedly fighting with adult staff and teachers outside an unnamed secondary school.

The video clearly shows intense physical altercations, with some of the adults trying to defend themselves with canes while the students aggressively push back.

As expected, netizens are completely divided on this:

One side is completely disgusted, calling for immediate mass expulsions, arrests, and total prosecution of the students involved for utter disrespect and physical assault.

The other side is questioning the teachers' methods, arguing that extreme, toxic corporal punishment or provocation might have pushed the students to a breaking point where they decided to violently fight back.

Let's talk about it: Where do we draw the line between maintaining strict school discipline and pushing students to the point of violent resistance? If you were the principal or the parent of one of those students, what would be your immediate action?

]]

Within the time this video lasted, in a normal country, police would have been there.

Nigeria Police is trained to guard the tenure of politicians, and money people, not to protect the lives and properties of citizens.

How do we confirm those guys are truly students of the school?

They could be those egbon adugbo that came to fight on behalf of their maltreated brother or sister.
True, it is possible...but i think they are students, because of the way the teachers were using cane on them.

In most cases, they are old students of the same school who had one or two teachers in mind and looking forward to a day they would return to treat their fvckup.

Re: Secondary School Students Fight With Their Teachers by jaxxy(m): 9:42pm On May 27
Fighting u teachers is wild. If ure tired of school just tel ur parents u want do something else. undecided

I do understand not all teachers know what they doing or how to communicate with the sudents and some are sadist but u cant cross the line. Unless the teacher crossed it 1st mean somehing realy extreme.
