Tochukwu Nnadi speaks on the team performance vs Zimbabwe at the Unity Cup. Remember that team and that midfield 3 especially played together for the very first time.

Based on the way the lack of foreign based players annoyed broos at the afcon, it is not surprising why he was added. They wanted to use local south african flavour to win afcon and they found out the flavor is not strong enough. When he was not called for afcon i was surprised seeing that he was not injured then. The 2025/26 NPFL season marked the first time Enyimba F.C. finished outside the top 10 since 1997. A remarkable 29-year run — ended. Source: NPFL_News |

Player's that play in the unity cup, are they cap tie to that country? Femi might get a call from England soon, if he keep up his form. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by NasirIbnLaAhad: 11:54am On May 28 |
123jamessmith:It's too late for England to make a move. Femi Azeez is now a full time Super Eagle. The 2025 Unity Cup was basically just a friendly, so players weren't cap-tied. One could've played for Nigeria there and still switched allegiances down the line. But with this year's edition, FIFA has now handed the tournament a full Tier 1 status, meaning the matches count as official internationals. So playing in it now can cap-tie you to a country. As for Femi himself, I'm glad he's done well. If Yohanna comes around in September and proves that he is as good as people say he is, then we're definitely build something monstrous in the coming years, that is, if NFF's curse doesn't kick in before everything clicks. |

The plan last year october was to play jamaica this year. Guess our plan was not specific enough to mean the world cup play offs. FiveFootNinja: |

123jamessmith:The way some of una dey reason sometimes dey baffle me. If England calls him up,let him go and play for England, and some of you will still come and blame NFF and the coaches for his decision, just like Eze's case. By the way,who is he going to displace in that English team from Championship where players from Man City and Chelsea are failing to make the cut. |

Happy for those Tanzanian lads. They and Uganda have played some of the best football at the U17 Afcon this year. The East African class of 2026 are really good. A rarity. oloriooko: |
