Atiku Warns Presidency, INEC, Judiciary by esnbrutality(op): 6:15am On May 29
The African Democratic Congress, ADC, 2027 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has warned the Presidency against interfering in the party’s affairs.

Atiku warned that any attempt to interfere in ADC’s affair by the presidency, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the judiciary would be resisted.

He issued the warning after his emergence as the ADC presidential flag bearer.

The former Vice President defeated ex-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and Mohammed Hayatu-Deen during the ADC’s presidential primary election.

In a post on X, Atiku appreciated the ADC for the privilege of emerging as its presidential candidate.

He wrote: “I wish to express my profound appreciation for the privilege, which you have bestowed on me, of leading our great party, the African Democratic Congress, into the next elections as its Presidential Candidate. I am truly humbled and excited by this singular honour.

“We demonstrated that while democracy is being strangled and squashed by the ruling party and its oppressive and anti-democratic government, democracy is alive and well in the African Democratic Congress.

“Great care was taken to ensure that due diligence was done in the process of forming this coalition. Yet the government and the INEC continue to undermine it, even trying to deregister it.

“Let me warn that any further attempt to interfere in the affairs of the party by the Presidency, INEC and judiciary will be fiercely resisted. Enough is enough.”

As a matter of urgency, the new government must setup a panel to trial every controversial verdict in the pass 12 years and any judge👨‍⚖️ found wanting in corruption must face the full wrate of the law.

I love this bold step.

This is what the opposition should be doing. Prepare to shutdown Nigeria if the government institutions refuse to stay neutral.

This guy is on a vengeance mission. I'm sure this time, his fight is not against Tinubu. It is against Peter Obi. Having ruined his chances in the last election season and doing so again this time, Atiku will make sure with every breathe he has that Peter Obi's presidential career never sees the light of the day.
In the actual sense, they were better together, a formidable weapon against PBAT's administration, if not for Obi's greed.

Shut up,GenZ. Obasanjo destroyed everything and paved way for others to follow, and that's why judiciary is what it is today.

What difference?

Just more of same jagajaga governance.
Re: Atiku Warns Presidency, INEC, Judiciary by buygala(m): 8:56am On May 29
Another version of Buhari's "dogs and baboons will be soaked in blood" grin

Next is for Atiku to also like Buhari, attempt to force Tinubu to relinquish power by declaring a parallel government if Tinubu insists on returning himself as President against all odds grin

Only problem with all these is that Tinubu isn't a sissy like Goodluck Jonathan...Tinubu will rather have Atiku and the entire Nigeria burn in hell than be harassed out of Government..This is both a good and bad thing, depending on one's perspective and blind political inclination.

The reforms are urgently needed since APC and Wike have destroyed confidence in the courts.

Wike Boasts Of Helping APC Use Judiciary To Kill Osun LG Funds Case, Warns Party Leaders Against Ingratitude

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has openly boasted that he assisted certain elements within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in deploying the judiciary to frustrate the Osun State local government allocation lawsuit.

In a video now circulating widely on social media and obtained by SaharaReporters, Wike made the claim while addressing a crowd in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The former Rivers governor accused the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, of benefitting from judicial actions against the Osun State Government without knowing those who did the work behind the scenes.

The suit in question led to the withholding of local government funds in Osun State, a development widely seen as targeting the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke as opposition in the state.

Wike, who spoke angrily, suggested that the court action supporting the APC’s position against the Osun government did not happen by chance, boasting that powerful political forces worked quietly to ensure the outcome.

“Don’t take our support for Mr President for granted,” Wike warned, in an apparent message to APC leaders defending Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara. “You have to be careful about the statements you make. You have to be very careful.”

He accused Basiru of political ingratitude, claiming the APC was enjoying in Osun State without understanding who engineered their advantage.

“Today, you are enjoying in Osun. You don’t know those who did the work,” Wike said. “You are opening your mouth to talk about Rivers State.”

When they gave Yakubu appointment, it was biased, but when they named a Bus stop over Nnena, it was okay.

If you want to shut down, sha do it in your own region for your own safety.
