Publicdust:Yes. Upload your passport data page in place of any document not yet available. Then gather them and keep, during the preliminary review, you'll now be asked to upload the correct one |

Appointments are available now if anyone is looking to book one. Also, does anyone know whether people who had their interviews around February and March have received a decision yet? The latest updates I’ve seen here seem to be from January. |

Please a friend of mine got rejected by the German embassy, they said they had doubts about his identity, but he wants to apply. What documents does he need to strengthen his application |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by cyberbro: 3:58pm On May 29 |
ehizojieonuku:Wow, that's crazy. Were you given till yesterday as the deadline to upload missing documents? If so, after you uploaded the documents, did you press send/submit for review? Also, what time did you submit, was it early in the day? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by ehizojieonuku: 4:29pm On May 29 |
@cyberbro I was given 30days to upload missing documents, After uploading the documents, I pressed submit for review I submitted early in the day, like past 9AM |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Laryfrosh: 5:13pm On May 29 |
ehizojieonuku:Take a look at the screenshot you uploaded. You submitted 4 out of the 7 required documents. Are you sure that's not where the issue is coming from? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by cyberbro: 5:51pm On May 29 |
ehizojieonuku:From what you wrote, I am inferring that you submitted on the last day of the deadline - that's a major issue cos you don't know if the last day still counts. Also as someone pointed out above, did you submit ALL the required documents? The only time I've seen people getting kicked out of the portal is for incomplete submission or failure to provide supporting documents at the appropriate time. Guess the best bet now is to mail the embassy and see what they have to say about your case. Most likely, you would be told to start over... hard pill to swallow, but that's a very likely outcome. |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by ehizojieonuku: 11:08am On May 30 |
cyberbro:Brotherly I really appreciate your response, I submitted my documents on the third day with about 27days left. All documents requested were submitted. They responded within the span of 12hours |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by cyberbro: 11:12am On May 30 |
ehizojieonuku:Ok, that's a clearer picture. They must have kicked you out for reasons best known to them cos I haven't come across such before. Best bet is to send them an email and ask why you were disqualified from the application portal. |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by ehizojieonuku: 11:36am On May 30 |
cyberbro:Thank you so much, I observed that in my application (VIDEX) In the place of stay of purpose:I choose employment because there was no option for opportunity card. Can this be a reason |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Laryfrosh: 11:39am On May 30 |
ehizojieonuku:How come your screenshot is saying 4/7 documents were submitted? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by cyberbro: 11:44am On May 30 |
ehizojieonuku:The purpose of stay in the videx (chancenkarte portal) is OTHERS, then you write "Job Search" or "To search for Employment" That's as much as I remember from the last application I did on behalf of someone and it worked out. |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by ehizojieonuku: 12:41pm On May 30 |
Laryfrosh:Sincerely, I am still confused because I confirmed all documents before sending for reveiw |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Laryfrosh: 4:32pm On May 30 |
ehizojieonuku:Damn it! Have you written them a mail yet? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by ehizojieonuku: 4:51pm On May 30 |
Laryfrosh:Yes, I have sent a mail |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Tifay: 4:56pm On May 30 |
I'll tell you what I suspect to have happened having been through a deleted profile before. First question I'll ask is where did you get the message or idea that you had 30 days left?. It is likely that the 30 days is from the day they sent the response and not when you saw it. The portal doesnt notify you immediately they respond - There is 24 - 48 hour window minimum before you get the email prompt. Unfortunately, you didnt account for this. Another thing you could and should have done was to actually look at the comment in their response. They normally and would possibly put the date it would expire and be deleted there. It's very easy to miss if you dont actively look for it. Sometimes, the comment is in the additional documents section and not the compulsory one so you could have missed it. I will attach so you can see what i'm saying. We also learned this the hard way I think your best bet now is to call and email them but I doubt that may be useful at this point as we've not seen them reinstate a deleted profile, maybe they have but no one here has mentioned it before. Your best option is to probably start again and also mail them with your circumstances asking them for a fast-track
