If I Ever Meet President Tinubu Face To Face, This Is What I Will Tell Him by Odewaleadesoye(op):
If I ever meet President Tinubu face to face, this is exactly what I will tell him:

Mr President, Nigerians are tired. Not lazy. Not unwilling to work. Just tired.

People wake up every day worried about food, transport, rent, school fees, and safety. Parents are struggling. Young people are losing hope. Many hardworking citizens feel abandoned.

The first thing Nigerians need from leadership right now is compassion that can be felt, not just heard in speeches. People want to see leaders living with urgency about the suffering in the country.

Security must become the number one priority. A country cannot grow when people are afraid to travel on roads, farm on their land, or sleep peacefully at night. Kidnapping has become too common and many citizens feel unprotected.

The economy also needs practical relief. Policies may make sense on paper, but when hunger increases too quickly, people stop caring about economic theories. They just want to survive. There should be stronger support for small businesses, farmers, and ordinary families.

Corruption must be fought honestly and consistently regardless of tribe, party, or political connection. Nigerians have heard promises for many years. What they want now is visible accountability.

Please surround yourself with people who will tell you the truth, not only people who praise you. Sometimes leaders become disconnected from the reality on the streets because everyone around them filters the truth.

And finally, Nigerians want hope again. Not slogans. Not propaganda. Real hope built on visible improvement in electricity, jobs, security, education, and justice.

This country still has enormous potential. Nigerians are resilient people. But resilience should not be abused forever.

Op

Tinubu supporters will soon call you omo Ibo because to them, it is only the Igbos that are complaining about tinubu monumental failure all around the country ..

But what most tinubu supporters do not know is that most Igbos are business men and women, so if price of goods increases from the manufacturers end, An Igbo business man will also adjust the price of his goods and still make his usual profits without breaking a sweat.

The Igbos truly love this country and that's why they are always the first to speak up without fear or favor when things go wrong ..

I think, Mr president took an oath never to be compassionate or show any sign of empathy to Nigerians. Imagine going to Jos after a massacre only to tell the people that he was to spend a short time as there was no electricity? Yet, he never went to the point where the atrocities were committed. No presidential order to apprehend the terrorists. Yet, an AI generated video message didn't take few hours before his spokesman issued a threat. Help me to tell him that his position is not for self defense, but for the defense of the defenseless Nigerians.

With respect, Nigerians are not asking for compassion speeches because compassion without results changes nothing.

The real question is this: after years in office, where are the measurable improvements?

Security was declared a priority, yet many communities still live under the threat of banditry, kidnapping, and violent attacks. Citizens continue to pay taxes while often providing their own security, electricity, and basic services.

The economy cannot be judged by policy intentions alone. It must be judged by outcomes. If the cost of food, transportation, housing, and education continues to rise beyond the reach of ordinary people, then citizens have every right to question whether the policies are working.

Corruption is not defeated by announcements. It is defeated by transparent investigations, prosecutions, and consequences that apply equally to the powerful and the powerless. Nigerians have heard anti corruption promises from successive governments. What they seek now is evidence.

The claim that leaders need better advisers overlooks a deeper issue. The suffering of Nigerians is not hidden information. It is visible in markets, on roads, in homes, and across every sector of society. The challenge is not awareness. The challenge is action.

Nigerians do not owe government endless patience while living standards decline. Government exists to serve the people, not to continually ask the people for understanding while conditions worsen.

The resilience of Nigerians is undeniable, but resilience should never become an excuse for poor performance. Citizens deserve security, opportunity, justice, and a better quality of life. These are not favours from government. They are fundamental responsibilities of leadership.

Tell him that he has failed his Yoruba people. Under him. Terrorists are doing whatever they like in Yorubaland to the extent of killing traditional obas and kidnapping school children.

Tell him that he has no solution and answers to Nigeria problem. He has failed.

A man that successfully inserted clauses in the electoral reform bill without Nigerians knowing, and is actively fighting behind the scenes to shut down opposition knows what he’s doing

I’m sure he’s looking at his supporters like, “ I have failed like this but you still find some mumu reason to support me?”

Tinubu isn't so healthy to handle the affairs of Nigeria. They've been patching him up all along but the old man is so stubborn. No healthy man would be falling down without being pushed. What does that tell you? Baba needs to go and rest.

The worst disgrace a leader could face was the response he gave on insecurity to that press. From that alone, coupled with the caution given to that journalist by that man behind him, one would know baba has dementia which is common to people of his age. He's well over 83yrs but claiming 10yrs younger. Even if you can succeed in deceive yourself and your followers nature can't

No dey attach that "Mr president" to his name, that's a stolen mandate. You cannot eat a fruit when it is not ripe cos if you do you must bear the brunt and that's what is happening to Nigerians. Teanubu is not ripe for presidency and the outcome of the unriped fruit it what Nigerians are suffering right now.

Because of overambitious and quest for power you put 240 million citizens in danger. Karma must surely visit him and his lineage.
