That being said, even if it were true, credit is not free. Some people have $800 credit limit and others have $200,000 credit limit. Your access to credit depends on your worth according to the bank’s standards.

Your job stability, income, property values and financial history all play into how much a bank approves you for-If they even you approve at all. So why would having access to credit be a thing to laugh about?

If you think it’s easy, why don’t you walk into any American bank and just randomly ask them to approve you for thousands of dollars in credit.

The things you guys think are insults never make sense to me.

I'll be in Naij in 2 weeks. In GH and maybe Naij again in Sept and then in Dec. for my annual "pilgrimage".

Exactly.

Everyone has their circumstances in life, I try to live circumstances that suit me and expect everyone else to do the same.
But, as I always say if you have no perspective on other people's circumstances, why are you speaking on them.

But there is a place for credit card. I like my money so I'm always calculating the rewards I can get and status upgrades vs. the difference in the bank rate(which the cc charges me) vs. the black market rate and the security of not using my Nigerian credit cards (was hacked one year I think paying a hotel online).

I've been stubborn but the rates are becoming almost similar so next year I'll probably put everything I can on a card that has 3% back and use my cash on my Naij debit card for smaller transactions.

Also don't have to deal with carrying cash and dealing with Abokis.

Bill Maher is a millionaire. He’s fine. The difference between him and a multi billionaire is that a multi billionaire is ten thousand times richer than he is.

He’s not “the rich” people talk about when they say tax the rich. This is why it’s confusing to normal folks when the conversation about taxing the rich gets high jacked by middle class people and millionaires.

Currently the lower middle class , middle class and some millionaire class are carrying the country on their backs.

The ultra rich (Bill Maher doesn’t qualify) do not pay proportionally to what these other classes pay. Bill doesn’t realize that if the rich are taxed properly, he will in fact pay less. His problem is that he thinks he belongs to the Elon class.

And the middle class people who even think they belong as well are the most ridiculous of all. Making a few hundred thousand dollars a year and crying about a proposal to tax the rich. You’re not the rich. I wish I could be as delusional as these people are.

Those tables at Zaza, Boho, Mr. Panthers, and Library, food at places like Slow, Kaly and Z Kitchen, 15 and 20 year Whiskey, renting a Prado to be available 24/7 jsut in case I want brakfeast outside the hotel at 7 or want to stay out till 4am, and renting small speedboats (Bemeruca would see everywhere, never said he got on one) to make it to the Beach Houses ain't cheap.

Oh yeah that didn't include the direct flight from NY.
