lebete3000:I'm sure it is. I just personally limit those stuff to avoid headache. I limit it to non-techy stuff generally i.e. bedsheets, household cleaning supplies, small portable products, cables & adapter, stickers/posters etc.. the risk with cloths even when you get accurate size is quality of materials, colors... I think they should limit their advertising. It's deceptive, misleading & employing "bait-and-switch" tactics! |

I'm Amerengues2:My people say if they're planning to eat you for dinner, don't marinade yourself. Whatever special insight you have which the rest of us lack, I've shopped on Temu, Amazon and some of the others. Temu needs to drop its shenanigans. No shenanigans, no fines. That's the basic. |

Amerengues2:Oh wow!!! About this.. “Also, considering that Chinese people and cheap labour coupled with low-margin-high-volume concept” do you think they’ll ever be a market or an economy strong enough to rival this marketing ideology? Because incidentally even the U.S albeit codedly, are benefiting from this concept. |

VonScott:Hmmm, and me I'm considering getting led ceiling light from them oh, and the reviews of some of them are quite impressive with 4.8% stars on average. Someone told me to always chek the reviews and number of stars of the seller before buying from them, and also the numbers of years and sales as well |

Amerengues2:I disagree in part. First, TEMU Use deceptive ad campaign. Source the cheapest product possible Target region with weak regulation. As dishonest EU might appear to you, it's in the interest of their consumers in the long run. |

That concept has come to stay! Nothing can rival it except incessant law suit that can erode small margin. However, it's quite unfortunate that the same products being complained of are already littered on Amazon by dropshippers and resellers. No matter how a nation is touted to be a "Value-over-price" just like the west are seen, things are now already shifting. My data on TEMU shows that Temu has really penetrated UK and everyone would go there for products 7x cheaper (at most you avoid electronics) and they sensitive buyers of the need to check DIMENSIONS before purchasing (as people complain of small products compared and being deceptive). The truth is, the purchasing power has dropped globally and people no get that power like before. magabounce: |

| Re: TEMU Fined $232 Million For Breaching EU Rules On Sale Of Illegal Products by maasoap(m): 2:28pm On May 31 |
DSS1335:Temu needs to do better than how it is currently performing, allowing all sorts of substandard products on its platform. And there is price scam too. DMCY:People are to be blamed for that. They don't take time to read through descriptions and so check the measurements/dimensions |
| Re: TEMU Fined $232 Million For Breaching EU Rules On Sale Of Illegal Products by maasoap(m): 2:37pm On May 31 |
Amerengues2:That was a long time ago before I even discovered Temu. By the time I was aware of Temu, it was no longer free or ridiculously cheap anymore. Their prices now rival what is obtainable in the market with the few exceptions when you are given discount. Between last year and this year, I have ordered items above N500,000. Some of which are substandard, defective or completely useless. My point is that Temu and its sellers are now making ridiculous profits |

Bankowner:This statement! Temu is an addiction, one has to agree to that verdict in order to be able to do something about it. What I did when I realised I was ordering constantly even when I shouldn't, I removed the app from my phone. I would only install it when I needed an item or more. |
