A followup by Shina... in response to a comment on Osimhen's absence.
I’m not buying this, what if we had qualified for the World Cup? It’s not like there’s an imminent or ongoing transfer

Cut Osimhen some slack Chief
If he's absent because of transfer issues, then best believe there are serious offers on the table
Remember Lookman too would be absent, and no specific reason was given..

Well, Chelle has finally gotten the team to score goals in Osimhen's absence..
I personally would have loved to see him against Poland and Portugal ( I hope he comes for the Portugal game), but if he doesn't show, nothing spoil
We go out there and play our game..

Lookman too, would have loved to see him..
If na another coach, I may have panicked a bit, but with Chelle, rest of mind full ground..

Other strikers should grab this opportunity and step up to the plate
And thank God, we have Femi Azeez to play that Lookman's role..

We move!!

asin eehhn that will be a strong statement oo, infact we use this team beat Poland Like 2-0 and win Portugal like 1-0 or 1-1 draw, e go remain small make them declare team A disbanded, even Osimhen sef go feel am🤣🤣
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by minfelix(m): 5:36am On May 31
See ehn if Poland and Portugal will flog us no problem, but if i be chelle i will start these Unity cup boys in those 2friendlies, afterall na friendly them call am….if those boys pull up a shocking positive result then im afraid we are having a new super eagles starting 11.
Chelle may also be scared to spoil his massive 90mins unbeaten runs

Chelle should play Lookman, Femi and Akor as a front 3...Osimhen's absence ( as usual) is a blessing sef, we need our test our attacking depth especially in this high profile games.

Let’s see if we can actually play competitive games without Osimhen & Lookman
I can’t believe people are complaining of his absence
Someone that plays like he’s going to keeel himself when he plays for Nigeria
Is he the only player we have in the country
Let us give other players a chance too
All these people talking Trish have never made any sacrifice for Nigeria o
All they do is destructive criticism
In my opinion, they should reserve these guys for serious tasks like the qualifiers or AFCON
Im not saying anyone can just walk straight into the team though but we should have competent options readily available
These friendlies will really be a true depiction of our football level globally
Do we have solid Iwobi & Ndidi replacements ready too for the future ?
Competition will make the team better

Win Portugal with Bruno Fernandez In midfield grin
E go hard o
Make you no just give me 4 nil memories
Who will handle Rafa. Leao
Curious to see what Moffi & Adams pairing will look like, both technically sound players

They should think of expanding this Unity cup.

Yeah im also surprised at the transfer news. Thought he was already settled. Seems a big club has started toasting him.

Sad to say, but I don't see Nwabali getting back into this team anytime soon

Arthur will only get better..
Already looks like a future number 1

If Okoye comes in against Portugal and Poland and drops a goal keeping Master class as expected, then it's over for Nwabali..

I don't know why he left Chippa Utd the time he did..
But that decision has cost him big time

I hope he gets a good club soon
But the market for goal keepers is really tight
True.

i no Portugal will be one of chelle’s strongest test in a friendly game…but you see these unity cup guys, just give them some ginger pep talk and motivation and see them fight for their lives against Bruno Fernandez and Raphael Leao

Make Chelle just go field these team C against Poland and Portugal…and we now end up beating Poland and drawing or nicking a win against portugal….ajeh nairaland will be divided🤣🤣…many will almost say dey should not invite Team A again🤣🤣🤣
Anything wey make us beat Portugal, I'm on my way to protest NFF to give Chelle a 5 year contract at $100k monthly

So, a so called Owen Oseni that could not even get up to 10minutes of action in the unity cup is listed as one of the players to prosecute our matches against Portugal and Poland?
