π When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. β Proverbs 29:2 Long before the advent of political leadership on earth, God Himself proved a capable leader through His administrating the nation of Israel via His laws, His prophets and His presence. (Exodus 20) However a time came when the Israelites yearned for a supreme human leader they could relate with personally and not through mediums. (1 Samuel 8:4-7) God condescended to His people's desire and gave them a leader_King Saul who was shoulder taller than anyone else and thus began Isreal's political dynasty. But king Saul's leadership was wrought with inadequacies as forewarned by prophet Samuel: (1 Samuel 8:10-18) This was seen in how King Saul dealt harshly with the Israelites by vastly exploiting their resources thus making them lament bitterly. Fast-forward from then to this day, a lot of people still mourn and lament in their different nations, because of the kind of harsh policies implemented by their leaders. π As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people. β Proverbs 28:15 Some political leaders act as ruthless dictators, exercising lethal control over the affairs of the people and threatening those who dare to resist. (North Korea is a good example today) However as seen in our opening scripture, all political leadership on earth π can be categoried into two: 1. Righteous 2. Wicked πA righteous leader works with the fear of God will work accordingly/reverently to God's will for the people. πA wicked ruler defies the fear of God and works selfishly to achieve their own will not God's. As Christians, apart from electing the right leaders, we are expected to pray for our present leaders, whether righteous or wicked. (1 Timothy 2:1-2) Why? Our prayers can bring God's timely intervention through our leaders, as all their hearts are in His hands at His disposal. (Proverbs 21:1) Also as in the case of Daniel and the Prince of persia. (Daniel 10:13) Our prayers can help subdue certain spiritual principalities from prevailing through wicked human leadership. God bless Nigeria π³π¬π

All these fake imported religions have destroyed the normal mental processes of a lot of our people. If you are following any of the two religion, you should know for fact that: There is no heaven, there is no hell, there is no God (or god), there is no Allah, there are no angels, there are no demons, there are no spirits, there is no life after death, juju don't work, there is no eternal judgment, there is no karma, there was no historical Jesus. All those are figment of human imaginations and tools use by a very few some to control the very many others. The earlier you understand and accept these facts as facts, the happier and merrier your life and existence will be. The religion you're currently claiming is the religion of your parents, if you were born into a different family of another religion (say Hinduism), that is the exact religion you will practice. You were born without a religion in you, your factory reset has no religion in it. If you were to be a phone and they do factory reset on you today being a phone, there will not be anything found related to religion in your settings, files and file systems anymore; you learn religion only after your birth growing up. Islam is idolatry and paganism, Christianity aswell is idolatry - All the world religion is idolatry, including all the Abrahamic religion. Holy communion is idolatory, bowing for a stone call Kaaba of the Bedouin tribes is also idolatory, killing of rams is idolatory, kissing or licking of a stone at mecca is idolatory, throwing of stone at pilgrimage is idolatory too. Infact, Illah is what the Arabic call God and not Allah. Allah was one of the diety been worshiped before the invention of Islam. That is why muslims will say something like "la ilah ila huwa" meaning Allah is one Illah (God). Have you ask yourself why Prophet Mohammed's father who was an idol worshiper and who lived before the invention of islam has Allah in is name Abdullai== Abdu Allah? It is because Allah has been an idol worshiped by paganists before the Prophet received his revelations. Nakedly circumambulations of the Kaaba, annual prigrimage to mecca, kissing of black stone, bowing towards the stone (stone worship) are all preislamic pagan practises by the nomadic Bedouin tribe and the same is what they still practice today. All Abrahamic religion are idolatory, they only package them well and condemn your heritage as evil, whereas, Nigeria was better in terms of morality, honesty and integrity before they brought the foreign religions. In peace loving, emotional intelligence, love for neighbors, respect for sanctity of life, we are even better than those who brought those religion with primitive leaders and prophets whose morality and characters are highly questionable. Release yourself today from the shackles of religion. Stop wasting away your life and existence! If you like, allow one illiterate alfa, imam or pastor to be telling you "you will go to hell". When you die, your dead experience will be like the same experience you had before your conception (pregnancy) ie. There is nothing like afterlife. Or where were you before your mother gave birth to you? UncleAyo |

Wicked and corrupt rulers are the ones we have in Nigeria, praying for them is not worth it except they give way for the righteous ones to take charge so that God can listen to the prayers of the people for their sake |

I believe that God appears to presidents who have just been genuinely elected. He appears to them at night to say He is aware that the people have elected you and that these are the areas of governance He wants you to look into. It was devil that congratulated Tinubu in 2023 but God will appear to Obi next year. He should expect God to complain about areas like poverty, insecurity and infrastructure. |

God has absolutely nothing to say about political leadership because those did not exist when the Bible was written.... It's could only discuss absolutely monarchy (kings) cos that was what was in place then |

MaxInDHouse:The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. β Psalms 115:16 If God gave the earth to humans to govern, then it means God restricted the power of government to humans, not necessarily to Himself although He has all power to change and intervene. However, satan stole the power of spiritual government over the earth from Adam, that's is why political leadership today is generally seen as selfish and diabolical. This is reason why many politicians steal massive funds meant for the betterment of majority, politics is mostly controlled by the devil. Today satan rules the earth through many wicked political leadership but the devil's power is limited when Christians pray for the government and elect right leaders. |

judewrites:Can any right government come out of a generation that's controlled by Satan the devil? Well if you must know the truth what unbelievers want is a government that is chosen by the majority (Democracy) now the next question to ask yourself is how many people do you think have good heart in the world today so that they can unitedly choose someone who is nice?π |

MaxInDHouse:Hmmmm.... That's why there is hardly any perfect government in the world today. All governments have their own peculiar weaknesses and failures, but it's more pronounced in the African continent. But thankfully, a government is coming that is free from all faults, weaknesses, corruption, etc. And that government will be eternal. Hope you will be there, because I will be there π |

You try sha,,but the Bible at I Timothy 2:1_2 is simply telling us to pray for the governments for us to find favourable conditions under them to worship our God peacefully and successfully.because if the government is the sort that persecute and opposes Christianity,it would be hard to worship God under such circumstances.so pray for them to allow u serve ur God in peace.....Heb.13:17 is not taking about secular leadership but about "those taking the lead among you" ( the Christian body) after all,the secular leaders are not going to render an account for anyone.it is the Christian leadership that will render an account for Christ's precious sheep....yes Roman 13:1 rightly urge us to be submissive to the superior authorities, yes for all the services they render to humanity, christians of course need to be among the best citizens of any country. The scriptures there say God put them in place in that he has allowed them to be in existence even though he didn't buy the idea of man ruling man. So for his servants to avoid trouble and the much chaos that may come from disobedience to the governments,he simply say, obey them......but apart from these ,true Christians know this: 1 John 5:19 Satan controls the political set up....Luke 4:6 Satan is in full control of the world and it political set up and whoever sits there must be in alignment..... John 17:14-16 the political set up is a part of Satan's world that Jesus and we his followers are no part of.....So if you're praying like Jesus and the apostles did,to be at peace with the government so that you can worship ur God freely, that's ok...but if it's about a prayer for the leaders to change and to do things well, then you can as well pray for Satan to repent, which you and I know it's futile.
