Christian Akpan is a 21y/o Genk U23 Fullback who has been playing Challenger Pro league football until just yesterday when he made his full first team debut for Genk Main Team in the Belgian Jupiler Pro Legaue European Conference league spot playoff vs KAA Gent.

He played the full 120mins as RB and dropped 26 defensive contributions.

Genk lost 5-4 on penalties after 1-1.


NB: He started off as a midfielder cum fullback from Asec Mimosas youth setup, CIV so he is versatile as a fullback and a central/defensive midfielder.

The behavior of some players is parallel to how some of our citizens behave in relation to government.

Attack is already blessed with Lookman, Akor, Moffi and Osimhen and Femi.
