Many of the stories of what happened around that period seem to have been removed from the internet, as I am yet to find other reports from around the same time surrounding the events around and after the particular one I posted. Kind of seems some effort has been made to remove quite a lot of the reports by Nigerian Newspapers around that time that include reference to Adeboye and his church. I am not surprised though!

Even Nairaland seems to have wiped its archives clean on so many of the mentions.

First of all, Adeboye said nothing as all he did was put forward a meaningless conditional statement, which is quite different from what he did back in 2010 when he gave Jonathan a direct ultimatum.

Second, no new laws are needed, as criminal laws are clear as far as what should happen to all criminals in Nigeria. However, Adeboye seems quite aware that terrorism is a result of the Islamization of Nigeria, which explains why the government has been seemingly dragging its feet when it comes to eliminating the issues. I believe Adeboye not only knows that the agenda of the current administration is to Islamize the nation, but is complicit...he is part of the agreement. That explains why, if you read the OP carefully, you will find that his play with words requires no action at all on the part of the government.

Is anything stopping these pastors from contesting for presidency? Lets see what they can do when one of them is in power other than manipulating their congregations and confusing the masses. Contest for presidency if you can do it better.

Nigerian Armies are more terrorists than the terrorists themselves. How do you pay people salary of 50k to work inside the bush and you expect them not to join terrorists to make millions. That's the crux of the matter. Any soldier working in the bush shouldn't earn less than a million naira monthly. They need to first do a rehabilitation in the armed forces followed with great packages in reward and then after they can fight terrorists. These crop of soldiers can't do that. How can a nation survive this.

Using your analogy, this President Goodluck and President Tinubu all happy, smiling and playing so that means GEJ joined Tinubu to insult Goodluck since they took pictures

It's unfortunate that we lot are misinformed or uneducated to know that it is our right to hold our leaders accountable. We've allowed our leaders to get away with under performance so much that they are using our lives for business. We practically aided that.

We need to walk to streets and hold our political leaders accountable. Protests may cost lives but, the greater good would be the end result... Kids, women, men kidnapped in such a way you can't even steal in chicken...
