Lower interest rates normally translate to increase number of people who can bid and in turn increase in cost of purchase. This has nothing to do with any govt, Its basic ecnomics

There is common sense here, and no, the police should not automatically believe the person who called them. The caller gives them a starting point, not the final truth.

Police are supposed to look at the situation when they arrive. If violence is still going, detain people first and separate them.

In this case, the violence was no longer happening. The man was already on the ground, saying he had been stabbed, and instead of checking him properly, they dismissed him as lying and handcuffed him.

That is the problem.

You are trying to say the police taking one person’s word because of a racism allegation, but that is exactly what I mean by two-tier policing.

Once the race card entered the story, they stopped using their common sense. They treated the accused as guilty and ignored the most obvious fact at the scene, he was the one injured and asking for help.

So the contrast matters. The man who actually killed someone was not treated with the same suspicion or force. He was handled calmly, respectfully, even offered food. Meanwhile, the victim was handcuffed while injured.

This is not about institutional racism, but you cannot correct past injustice by creating a new injustice.

Policing should be based on evidence, the scene, injuries, risk, and behavior not simply who made the accusation first or which racial narrative sounds more believable.
