Only hardworking that I inherited from them. The rest I learnt from their mistake. Like trusting without test, being overly generous (n0t even during church donations), lesser empathy (if I was in their shoes no one would care), giving out loan (noone would loan me either) etc

I inherited safety first from my Dad and I still carry it along like necklace
Safety first in everything
The smallest example is
If you want to serve my Dad meal
You must serve water first no matter what
Even if you bring the food first, he won't dare touch anything unless he sees water
Another example is make sure all outlet doors are always and thoroughly locked before going to bed

From my mom, well I learn cleanliness and food first

My Dad;Being punctual,keeping records!If you demand your primary 1 first term result from my Dad,he will provide it for you in few minutes!
Being prudent with what I have!

My Mum;Putting others first before myself!(trying to change that though)
Not being able to say No!If you twist me or my Mum and beg us for something,you’re definitely getting it!(working to stop this as well,cause some persons are beginning to take this habit of mine for granted)
Praying and fasting for my loved ones(I often wonder asides my Mum,do anyone else pray for me just as I pray for them🤔

I am left handed from non of my parents but perhaps from one of my grand parents or great grandparents.

You are 100% wrong, I am so pragmatic to the core but you see these inheritance trait or character is very real. The mind of a child is plain, noil and void, but these innate traits or character influence a child approach or encounter to the outside world.

There are some traits or character you copied from your parents by carrying their DNA. Taking your example as a case studies, every human can fight back but there are some people that can never break a bottle no matter how bad you offended them.

My little boy has inherited a trait from me that is so astonished to me too, and nobody thought him that.
