Oga,why bringing Nwabali has not faced European team to this,Enyeama as home based keeper faced England in World Cup as a rookie...fact Nwabali is better than Okoye.

Just one single YouTube channel haba a channel that’s not that popular sef

Nigerians are still interested in football in spite of all that’s happening let another tournament come up and you’ll see teeming fans everywhere. You guys are sometimes too negative allowing current events to assume our people no longer follow the team. Let the eagles or any national team male or female get to the final of any event and you’ll see the enormous following, is it not the same people celebrating Arsenal on the streets? We are crazy football fans and followers known worldwide.
Lol I literally just said the same thing: real Nigerian fans don't stay angry at the NT forever, and interest will bounce back once results improve. We're not in disagreement. My point was specifically about the 30k YouTube views being used as a metric for fan interest, which I said is a flawed reference point because of NFF's fragmented media structure. I never implied that Nigerians don't care about football. Of course they do. Nobody is disputing that.

Asin eehhnn, another person that is good at this long range shot is Mbekezeli Mbokazi of South Africa….that bulldozer of a boy is so crazy at long range shots😀
He did against Nigeria in their home game but flew past the post
He scored a screamer against Panama
He rattled the woodwork with another screamer against Angola
He score a golazo when he was playing for Orlando Pirate.

That boy na engine for flying shot

Yess boss i believe he is learning…and i will really want him to challenge Nwabali…He is young, He is handsome(super eagles poster pride 😀), he plays for a top european team….so i wont totally trash him….Him saving that long range screamer and we eventually winning Poland will just move him higher than Nwabali in the pecking order
It would have relegated Nwabali to the abyss, Nwabali should go and thank him

My dutch gang still no score! Upon all those chances... Luca Zidane made 6 saves. E tire me. Yes they were better but Algeria got the result in the end. In a WC fixture, that is 3pts for Algeria and 0 for the dutch.

jihday:
watched the highlight, I hope this isn’t how Algeria will play at the World Cup, they were battered especially in the first half

forgiveness:
Onuachu is to be blamed. You could see one Nigeria player jettisoned to him to press before that strike but he was ball watching.

If you don keep before, you go know say that was a banger.
Why will he press a player in the middle of field while closing out a win instead of closing spaces and being compact, if he had pressed and was played around the backlash against him would have been greater, you guys can't accept that sometimes there's no one to blame for certain situations
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 3:34pm On Jun 04
Actually just stating the big picture view. But I agree Nwaiwu holds more trait advantages compared to Fernandez who is also good.

Okoronkwo and Uzoho would take care of that, the biggest gainer from that long range was him

Laslas game don end. Players reserve a right to get better, all na part of experience. In totality, Maduka made two great saves he had no business saving, I agree there's a chance he could have done better with the 2nd goal but he did very very well. Until Nwabali gets out of semi-retirement, he can't even be mentioned for now and the #1 slot is between Maduka, Uzoho and Okonkwo, for me, Maduka it is at this point.

Algéria just beat Netherlands, I would not be okay with a loss
A draw would be decent
They should win before going on holiday since we aren’t at the World Cup

I didn’t watch this game, i decided to watch the highlights, and im asking how did Algeria manage to come out with a win here….from beginning to the end of the highlight i can just count like 5times algeria attacked compared to almost 20+ back to back attacks from the Dutch and Dominating the game as it should…Algeria really win this game as a Ghost

Consistent Moffi
Team player
Although I partly blame the forwards on the pitch for not pressing that Polish shot taker in the dying minutes

Portugal is one of the favorites to win the world cup but Netherlands isn't, I'm not opposed to a win or a draw but I'm not giving myself reasons to be mad at the end of the match

with this our form we suppose drag with portugal…this super eagles currently deserves a world cup spot
Nigeria 1-1 Brazil(first team played)
Nigeria 4-2 Argentina (first team played except Messi)
A serious and well coached super eagles outfit should be winning or drawing portugal in a friendly

Tochukwu Nnadi work rate really improve the super eagles midfield engine room I don't know why Merselle was benching him

The super eagles position battle for 7

Samuel Chukwueze - Femi Azeez - Zadiok Yohanna - Philip Otele

Right bank - Ola Aina, Osayi Samuel, Ryan Alabiosu, Beware Abdullah, Benjamin Fredrick semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, the tranzorbior defense Benjamin Fredrick

Goal keeper battle for number 1 - Maduka OKOYE, Arthur Okonkonwo, Francis Uzoho , Stanley Nwabali

I like this competition in the super eagles team under Eric Chelle

Central Defense battle - Emmanuel Fernandez, Igoh Ogbu, Nw

Interestingly, we’ve never managed to beat Portugal in all our encounters so far.

I’m hoping the Super Eagles emerge from this game unscathed and, most importantly, that Chelle’s unbeaten record stays intact. Fingers crossed!

We have to approach this Portugal game like it's our own FIFA World Cup final. As we no dey go World Cup, this is the closest we can get to the feel of the mundial. No joy. In fact a must win game. If we have to pull off a miracle to do it, then so be it. We must not lose. That's the type of mentality we should have going into this game.
