In Arizona , the AG later indicted 18 Trump allies over the alternate electors issue. Her case was thrown out by Arizona courts and it's Supreme Court. Now is getting another grand jury to explore how to charge them again.

Evidence was overwhelming.

But the punishment ultimately will be up to the judge and could be as high as five years behind bars. Bolton caved because he had no defense. He stored thousands of pages of classified, top-secret material at his home, and that is a clear violation of the Espionage Act. He then compounded those felonies by sharing the material with family members who had no security clearance whatsoever, which created additional crimes. When Bolton was indicted last year, he blamed Trump for targeting him for political reasons, and Democrats like Adam Schiff and Jamie Raskin echoed those accusations. This Bolton wanted Trump banned from running because of the indictment .
On the nomination: Bolton proposed that the GOP rule out nominees facing criminal indictments to ensure a higher standard for the presidency.
On legal strategy: He noted that a "smart" person would have returned all documents immediately and that Trump's failure to do so showed a lack of survival instinct and common sense.
After Trump fired him he went full blown TDS while he himself not only kept classified documents at home but had also emailed them to his wife from his work computer.

BULLDOZE THE STATUE OF LIBERTY? The White House ballroom case took a stunning turn in federal appeals court.

Per legal reporter Kyle Cheney, DOJ lawyers argued that if the federal government moved quickly enough to demolish a landmark, courts should not be able to stop it once the destruction was complete.

Judge Patricia Millett pressed the government's position with a hypothetical: What if the government decided to bulldoze the Statue of Liberty before anyone could challenge it in court?

MILLETT: “If the government decides very quickly to bulldoze the Statue of Liberty, the people whose ancestors — that was the first thing they saw coming to this country, but the government moved too fast — nothing can be done?”

DOJ: “I think that’s right, yes.”

Let that sink in. The Justice Department is arguing that if the government acts fast enough, even irreversible destruction of a national symbol could be beyond judicial review after the fact.

The exchange came during an appeals court battle over challenges to the White House ballroom project and immediately raised alarm among legal observers.
