I so hate these ones eehnnn…they do not even hide their resentment for Nigeria both in soccer and all rounder
They are the absolute worst. I have no love for them.

The WC qualifying series seriously gassed their tiny brains to think they can trade words with us. I can't wait for this World Cup to be over, let's jam them again with Chelle ball and set the records straight.

As for beyond football, I don't even pay them mind. They always sound so miserable and self-loathing when I read their tweets.

My rankings of the African teams going to the world cup

1. Morocco- Very good squad, best organized, proven they can navigate the group stages of the world cup

2. Senegal- Best squad on paper, good blend of youth and experience, hoping they have a similar run to Ghana in 2010.

3. Côte d'Ivoire- Strong squad with lots of interesting young talents, probably the most exciting team to watch.

4. Algeria- Big team, we trashed them at the Afcons but their win over the Netherlands showed maybe WE were too good, exciting young talents like Maza and Amoura

5. Egypt- They don't usually play well but they are stubborn fighters, any top team that overlooks them is in for a surprise.

6. DR Congo- If Arsenal was an African team, A dangerous dark horse built on the basis of 'defence wins you tournament' earned my respect when we played them in the Wcq.

7. Ghana- .

8. South Africa: Organized and disciplined, though the lack of elite attacking talent will be exposed at the World cup.

9. Tunisia: Struggle to create and score goals, would need a miracle to advance from the group stage.

10. Cape Verde: Good team and decent coaching, but likely to find the level of competition challenging, good luck to them.

I've not commented on Bewene's debut.

For me, as a new player, what I am most impressed with is his confidence. I like confident players. I like players who when they come into the SE, they feel at home.

Benjamin had that calm assuredness about him when he debuted too and I see the same thing in Bewene. I like players who when they play for the SE, play like they have been waiting all their lives to fulfill their destinies as SE players as in this mentality of: "I belong here, na my papa get am"

Confidence is gold. We saw how Bright Osayi struggled because of lack of confidence. It's during this last Afcon that he came into his own.

I am really happy that we have these youngsters taking their opportunities with seriousness and composure.

Chelle should throw Bewene into the Portugal match. Let Leao drill and subject him to suffering. Out of suffering comes wisdom and experience.

With good coaching, the Ivorians have a really high ceiling.

Morocco might win Scotland and Haiti to break our record and topple us
Senegal win over Iraq will equal our record and maybe win over norway to also topple us
Ghana win over Panama will equal our record

lets see how it goes

mind you Morocco and Cameroon have been qualifying way before us ooo

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Amedino99(m): 8:49pm On Jun 05
We have really performed suboptimally in the world cup as a continent. Cameroon for example has been to the world cup the most, 8 world cup appearances, played 26 matches yet it couldn't crack more than 5 wins. For a football crazy continent this graphic is such a poor look for us.

France’s loss to CIV saw Argentina move to number 1 team in the world

France

Portugal
Should we beat Portugal and allow Morocco sneak into the top 5 FIFA rankings and obliterating our proud record?

Or should we lose to guide our record?

Dilemma

Its so so so bad for us as a continent, thats why i made earlier post some pages back that after match day 2 just watch how almost all 10african countries will be dragging with lowly places Asian teams and SouthAmerican teams for 3place finish in d group….
watch how all those mid table European teams will line up behind world soccer powers in first and second position…na only Morocco,CIV and maybe Senegal go put up small fight

5. Portugal 1763.83
6. Brazil 1762.66
7. Morocco 1756.94

They have to first beat Brazil in their opening match at the world cup, then hope we beat Portugal, otherwise they are not smelling that 5th position

How many points comes with winning and which position will the SE be if we win Portugal?

From FIFA website👇🏽

How are rankings calculated?

The FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking is determined using the Elo Model. This method adds or subtracts points for matches to or from a team's existing point total. The points which are added or subtracted are partially determined by:

relative team strength
match importance
match result
expected match result

The big boss of Africa, 7 times winning afcon winners, egypt, are even more useless. The first african countey to qualify to the world cup in 1934, been to 4 tournaments yet they have ZERO wins

Onuche Ogbelu leaves Esperance of Tunisia and joins Al Ittihad Benghazi of Libya in a 1.3million dollars deal.

His salary will be $700K per year.

I thought he would move to Europe but it seems he loves North African football. Lol
