Hi everyone. My story will be long but only those who are patient enough to read will get answers.

Let me start by sayn that is bn a yle I posted here and that's coz my ulcer is gone and never to return by God's grace. How did I do it? I'll share it.

While at my former place of work, I was suggesting omeprazole to a colleague of mine whose mother had ulcer when a senior colleague called our attention. She told me abt CHLOROFIL (I hope I got it ryt) 4rm Malaysia I thnk. I thot it was just a trick to collect money bt she offered to give it to me free when she noticed I ddnt have d amount she was calling. (teachers no dey get money smiley

D said Chlorofil is powdered and u have to mix it wit water from a filter that has 7 layers of filtration. I got d water (just 2 medium glass bottles) 4rm a woman in d same office who bought d product 4rm her and she mixed it 4 me. I drank dat tasteless stuff 4 less than 10days and 4 d past 1 year, i've bn eatn normal, skipping meals sometimes sef and taking alcohol smiley which I cldnt do back then. D final confirmation was my medical test b4 I left Nigeria. H-pylori was zero. PLEASE, I dnt sell dis stuff, neither did I buy it, na dash dem dash me and it worked magic.

If u know any1 u can ask abt, plz do. D name of d filter is what I can't remember now. I'll be happy to hear good results 4rm those who'll try it.

Stay blessed.
Please i just sent you a mail, kindly reply pls🙏🙏.

[Hey geekybabe I'm currently going through all this I'd love it if you can help me quote author=geekybabe post=88802879]Haney2, first take a deep breathe.

Acid reflux /GERD is a different ball game. Its more difficult and scary because all the pain and discomfort is all happening in your chest and attimes you wonder if its your heart. Lol. With your research I'm sure you know now that it is really just Gerd and it can be Nasty.

The approach to managing GERD is different. Because even if you treat it, anytime you eat something that irritates your digestive system and causes acid to flow back up into your oesophagus, you are literally back to discomfort. The palpitations are bad. Spasms. Involuntary muscle reflexes. Back pain. Behind the breast bone. Mid chest. Lol. I know. Just calm down. You cannot even afford to had stress and anxiety to the mix. When i first had palpitations as a result of side effects from nexium, i was scared. I landed in d ER. But palpitations are not harmful. They are discomforting and irritating but not harmful. So dont stress. Jist focus on treating your gerd. The palpitations will go. Taking buscopan attimes helps with the palpitations and spasms.

Dont eat hot meals. Don't eat spicy
Avoid soft drinks and alcohol.
Avoid any kind of oily foods.
Eat soft meals and make sure you really chew your food completely before swallowing. Except for maybe swallow meals with draw soup.

At night, try to elevate your upper body and sleep on your left side. Read it somewhere online and it helps. There is also the dry cough that comes as a result of acid flowing back up into your throat. Be mindful of that and overtime once you identify your trigger foods, you will know how to manage your self. Keep a food diary. Trust me, it helps.

Anxiety and stress makes your stomach acid levels secret more. So just try to relax and not be too anxious. Play music. Meditate. And try not to think about it too much. Overtime you wont even remember the GERD is there.

There's this suspension that works like magic for GERD. Its called sulcrafate. (sold under the brandname Ulsanic). Not sure its in Nigeria, but u can ask around. but my doc recommended it for me and i have it as backup for days when i have flares. It is not an antacid like gestid and co. It actually treats gerd. If you can't find it, use gaviscon to get relief when you have heartburn.

If the unripe plantain solution helps thats fine. I used it years back. Your lifestyle changes are more important than remedies and overtime with adjustments, you'll get better.

Keep well..
This are exactly my symptoms

Oh my God, thank you so much for this, I was rushed to lasuth yesterday and I spent over 100k

Ok.. So you should not be taking your acid suppressants along with natural remedies pls. And always give your body time to respond to a treatment before jumping on others. I wish i could explain the science behind acid suppressants and your diet. Its a lot of things to be mindful of.

What are you eating and how often are you eating? Start keeping food diary to know what triggers your pain the most.
How late before bed do you eat your last meal? Should be at least 3 hrs b4 you sleep.
Do you add excessive garlic and onions to your meals? If so, pls eliminate.
Asides from esomeprazole, what other meds do you take?

Fyi, esomeprazole 40 mg is ok but it should be taken at least an hr before the first meal of the day for it to be effective. However, esomeprazole can cause palpitations, nervousness, tinnitus and weird side effects. With acid suppressants its a trial and error till you find what works. Most docs will prescribe acid suppressants for 2 to 4 weeks at a go if you are having a bad flare.

Gastritis is inflammation of the stomach. Eliminate foods that can possibly cause any kind of stress of inflammation for you while you heal. Take Buscopan for light discomfort during the day. Avoid stress. If you are overweight, try to lose some weight. And pls give your body enough time to heal.

Cabbage juice may cause diarrhea or worsen your gastritis if you have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). I'm hardly on nairaland these days but you can dm me on my Instagram handle. @glutenfreeafrican.
pls i need remedy.. anything i eat i vomit

I only picked intermittent fasting from this advice. what worked for me is lifestyle change. Stopped eating some meals, have a specific eating time and every Wednesday I fast 6am to 6pm. I have relaxed on the meals I stopped eating for years. Like I stopped eating akara or drinking soda and beer etc just recently I started eating some of this foods and drinking soda and I don't think I still have stomach ulcer.

Please I need help cos i don't know if it's ulcer anymore, I've not lived a normal life for the past three months and it's eating me up........ From one symptom to another...... Initially it was blurred vision and very cold feet until I was admitted and diagnosed of ulcer, typhoid and malaria, was treated at the general hospital and also given medications. This was around April and I swear that was the last time i felt anything close to normal three days later I started feeling this very hot sensation from my waist down to my feet, it gets so hot internally and you won't feel it when you touch me, that was when I started this plantain and water remedy but it didn't do Jack, went back to the hospital last week and the doctor said same thing. I've been on omiprazol, clarithromicibe and amozile for almost two weeks no and no much improvement....... My life is so miserable right now and sadly depression is setting in........ Don't know y they can't find the actual cause of my predicament......please I need help or advice because I'm actually frustrated to the edge.....right now it seems like my heart is so heavy and there's this vibration that goes all over my body that makes my hands and legs shake uncontrollably
how far bro...what did u later did for your urs to healed...pls
