Correct FDI cool

If we call most Nigerian club owners clowns now they will say we're being abusive.

A single individual through investment and consistency will pocket almost N1bn.

Even if it's greed or self preservation why can't NPFL club sides partner with some these mushroom academies to identify and groom talent?

Imagine Enugu Rangers or Kano Pillars cashing out almost every season through transfer fees for talent won't the league be some where by now?

Mujtahida:
Under fifa rules there is a fee that must be paid to the academy. It's statutory. Online reports say over a million dollars is going to Ikon Allah academy

Some of you have forgotten that Suleiman Sani was signed by RB Leipzig and that it was this summer deal closed earlier (in the winter).

Our options once the season starts are Lookman/Sani/SiMoses and Chuks/Azeez/Zadok
Right wing competition Femi Azeez, Samuel Chukwueze and Zadok yohanna it will be interesting who win the starting Eleven shirt in the super eagles starting line up next afcon

I'm almost shedding tears when have we ever had so much depth in these positions?

Even with the 1994 squad after Amunike and Finidi nobody else, ok maybe Tijani Babangida but basically that is it.

Thanks but no thanks. Elyte89 is right.

Amedino99:
To be fair there wont be much setlling down since most of the players are out for end of season holiday and world cup duties. Nothing much will happen until brighton starts preseason. Why not play this match if he can secure a visa to wherever they are playing the match. Its still two days away.

Danielnino00:
To be fair, with regards to your second point, we can't entirely blame the NFF...
The NFF doesn't own or control any pitch in Nigeria... They only make use of the ones available..
The real blame should be on the government through the National Sports Commission who have continued to neglect our national stadiums...
It's shameful that we constantly have to depend on a state government owned stadium in Akwa Ibom to bail us out while leaving Federal Government owned stadiums in Abuja and Lagos in bad conditions..

Modified...
The part I'll really blame the NFF on was their appointment of Finidi... Worst still, they allowed him turn the national team to an experiment ground for NPFL players during a crucial world cup qualifier...
I will also add that everyone involved have their own share of blame why we failed to qualify.

The NFF,the players, the coaches, even the fans should have an extension of it reserved for them.

NFF for not appointing the right coach at the right time.

Finidi for not handling the Eagles and job properly. Finidi,no matter how bad a coach he is has no business in losing those matches.

The players for choosing the worst possible time to boycott training thinking there won't be any unforeseen repercussions.

Even Osimhen, who is our talisman have no business picking unnecessary quarrel with his teammates during matches, other players looked up to him,a player like that should at all times try to comport himself, some little little things has it's repercussions.

Chelle tried his best,no one would blame him because he did not start on time,
but that final play off match vs DR Congo, he should be winning that kind of match, voodoo or no voodoo.

When the first 2026 Flying Eagles U20 list dropped for camping to begin, I recall criticisms against it.

But going through that list sees the presence of aj Ikon Allah FA Player. Same Academy that discovered and nurtured Zadok Yohanna.

It is well. I hope Maikaba and co give us a solid U20 side that will pass the WafuB test and bag the Afcon U20 ticket. Only after that, can we look at upgrading the team further with more U20 quality lads based abroad.

None of them might not even be starting for us,but any of them may come in second half.
I still prefer our 3 forwards to be Lookman, Osimhen and Akor Adams,if we are playing 433.

Settling down doesn’t only have to do with the club , what about d environment and all …abegi his presence dere or not won’t really change anything ,he’s not Messi or CR7 …the guys dere will do d job to their best ability.
that's the difference between us and this European countries. Leagues all over the world are on break, nothing bad asking him to join the boys even if he's not going to play, it won't cost anything. He mustn't be a Messi or Ronaldo. Europe countries are calling up very young players just to be in camp with the senior players, make them feel important and wanted.

The academy owner don cash out massively!

Let's focus more on our academies... It seems like the NFF aren't ready to fix the rot in our grassroot team with their constant recycling of coaches and allowing bribery be the major criteria for selecting players for the team...
How can we be overlooking reputable academies like this Ikon Allah and Beyond limit and be inviting players from Yum Yum FC and Water FC??
It is easy to create channels for unearthing such talents but our character undermines makes such endeavor either impossible or difficult.

All that can happen in September..no need to rush the young man

Which Zadok is like Olise? Zadok is not different from Samuel Chukwueze and Madueke while Azeez is more similar to Olise the reason Chelle deployed him as an AM in his debut for us

Mk una leave Chukwueze alone, na same una go chop Madok raw with out salt and pepper if em no do well for super eagles team

abeg no compare Azeez to Saka cus they are not alike at all

Saka na left back Abi winger back. Rigid and one way dimensional which is cut in and shoot.

Winger wey no sabi dribble to save em life

The world cup is usually a different ball game. Forget about all this friendly matches.

Yes, but some of these winger profiles fit in and also Chelle does switch up tactically, so these wingers provide him with options for such.

4-3-3 will accomodate the wingers.

When Akor, Lookman and Osimhen play together, it is 4312 /442 diamond with Lookman as the tip of the midfield diamond with Akor and Osimhen as the powerful front two.

other countries that rush young players do it to prevent the real country of origin of those players from capping them. E.g. lamine yamal. This one is ours unless he decides to ignore our call up and instead wait 5 years to naturalize to have a chance at the 3 lions squad.
