Only syncompants will be here singing praises of a road construction in which name the Government has taken trillions of naira in loan

Every market day they take loans in the name of these projects, no accountability whatsoever on how much the project was billed to cost, how much has been borrowed and what was done with the remaining loans

In Nigeria, accountability is forbidden, collect 3 billion in the name of a project, use 500million to do the project, use 3 million to erect a billboard to praise your extraordinary leadership

Politics is extremely lucrative in this side of the world

This project is needless and worthless with no direct or indirect economic advantages to Nigeria and Nigerians grin grin . An interstate bullet train 🚅 that connects major economic hub like Lagos, Kano, ABA, Onistha, Kaduna, Abuja, PH to start with would have gone a long way in reducing inflation, bring in more revenue and even solving insecurity (because a speed train that travels underground at 350km/h is technically unstoppable by those blood sucking beasts). Now tell me one thing PBAT has done in 4yrs aside this wasteful project that was used to compensate his corrupt friends
It is not good to be struggling in explaining what many do see and loved, except people like you 🤥.
For how many years, would the carriage be completed,if you are an Engineer - just to find out.
Very unrealistic permutations or
Which one is Faster and Better - the Sokoto -Badagry Superhighways ROAD Infrastructural Projects 🛣️ +
And the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway Road Projects- Cruising 9- Southern States ?
It is People like you that will be Shouting ' We Can't even see what Tinubu has done for 3+ years Now'- if he had started your Train 🚂 Works 😍!

I can't rate this road yet until we see the construction outside the cities like Lagos.

Will it be this beautiful when they start the construction in forest areas?

Thank you very much for clarifying my post above

Dear Nairalanders , shey Una see what I have been posting here on why these people are the only ones against this project and that the major reason being that they consider the entire SS coastline as their territory.

One day your eye go clear .
The bitter truth is that you know we are there and can't let you have your evil with on SS...as long as indigenous Igbos exist there...

Just forget it and face front.

It supposed to be Lagos-Calabar highway, but it seems stalled in Lagos. When is it going to move beyond Lagos? Time is going.

Has the road crossed Yoruba land yet..lol
I think theyre doing the road from both ends. Folks are working on th construction from calabar down to Lagos too and they are meeting somewhere.

There was a video posted here a few days ago showing the works from Calabar. Some of the contractors were interviewed in the video and they said they had to pause for a while because it was raining and the weather conditions werent favorable.

I think theyre doing something on this one.

How does this reduce poverty in the land? Jokers and military rulers have been building roads. The issue now is to increase the people’s standard of living and establish rule of law nationwide. Not corruption everywhere.

The funniest thing about Nigerians is that they cheer the President and governors as if they are building the infrastructures with personal funds.

Nice one.

Now the big question is: when will this Lagos section finally connect to Calabar?

Because, it's Lagos-Calabar coastal highway

Will it happen before May 29, 2027?

Asking for a friend. 😏
They can never finish that project.

Firstly, his reelection is not sure

Secondly, the next administration will end up abandoning it.

Today, I took time out to find out why the people of Burkinafaso (The Burkinabes) love their President so much and I was blown away. I suggest you do same. A visionary president is contagious. You don’t need tö false people to say you are working when you aren’t .

Every Burkinabe loves their President.

Go find out why. They can die for him and the vision he has made them buy into. That is leadership.

Even the blind can see that Tinubu is clueless.

Go see where Burkinafaso was and see where they are headed. Then come back and judge what Tinubu is selling tö Nigerians and you will clearly see why we can clearly see through his facade.

quote author=OAFMods post=139642422]You can wail to death for all you care. The givt should not take loan to build road, Tinubu should use his money to build your road ba ?! Is that how Alex Otti build 0.5 KM roads with his own money ba for you to praise n hype him.[/quote]

President Tinubu, best man for the job.
How much are you paying for petrol now?

Is it lower than N197? Or is it more than that?

If it’s more than N197, then how many pictures of this incomplete road are you using to pay for the increased price huh

Deltafirstson:
Although the pump price of fuel was N197 when President Bola Tinubu took over on May 29, 2023, the product now sells for N617 per litre – less than two months after.

In his inaugural address, Tinubu announced that subsidy was gone, fulfilling a promise that all leading presidential candidates made during the campaign.

Nigerians have been lamenting the hardship occasioned by fuel price hike. Amid the lamentation, a video where Tinubu campaigned to slash the price of fuel went into circulation.

Checks by Daily Trust affirmed the authenticity of the video uploaded on the YouTube page of Channels Television.

At his campaign rally in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, on January 25, 2023, Tinubu spoke on a number of issues, but those of fuel scarcity and naira redesign made the headlines.

However, Tinubu who spoke in Yoruba language, also assured the crowd that though people were saying petrol price would hit N200, it would be reviewed downward under him.

“The great Nigerian youths, the great Nigerian students, the confident Nigerian youths. This is a revolution. This election is a revolution. They are plotting, but they will fail. They said fuel price will increase and reach N200 per litre. Go and relax, we will bring it down,” he had said in the 7th minute of the video.
