BNXN Relocates To The US, Says "Lagos, More Expensive Than US" by Odewaleadesoye(op): 12:37pm On Jun 10
“Lagos is super expensive. It is more expensive than Los Angeles..."

Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson, has claimed that Lagos is more expensive than the United States.

The singer, who revealed that he has relocated to the US, said aside from paying bills, there are no hoodlums or street beggars demanding money from people in the US, unlike Lagos.

Speaking during a recent livestream on TikTok, BNXN said, “I was telling someone, since I got to the United States, nobody has asked me to give them money. And people are also suffering here.

“Lagos is super expensive. It is more expensive than Los Angeles. Aside from housing, every other thing in LA is not expensive. For instance, I am paying $12,000 monthly for my rent. Here you just pay your rent, and you’re good.”

The truth is that in Lagos, you're practically your own government. You provide your own electricity, security, water, waste disposal, and sometimes even road access to your area. Yet you're still paying taxes and various levies. By the time you add all these hidden costs together, living in Lagos can feel far more expensive than the figures on paper suggest. The difference is that in places like the US, many of these services are already built into the system, so you're mostly focused on your regular bills rather than constantly paying extra to compensate for failed public infrastructure

The only message he wanted to pass on and brag about is that he pays $12,000 monthly for rent in LA, nothing more. It's all about attention seeking.

Lagos is an overhyped, stinking garbage dump/slum.

Epileptic power supply, terrible flooding when it rains, touts and beggars, stinking, etc. Glorified sh1thole.
