My point wasn't that taxes are higher in Lagos. My point is that many services that taxes are supposed to provide are often paid for privately by residents. So beyond taxes, people still spend on generators, boreholes, security, estate levies, and other necessities. That's what makes the overall cost of living feel much higher than the official figures suggest.

If you can make it in lagos from scrath,you can survive anywhere in the world very easy
