I was not impressed with Senegal's play at AFCON except for their performance against Morocco in the finals. An average USA team completely outplayed them, and they should have lost that game by a margin of three to four goals. I am currently watching them against Saudi Arabia, and everything about their play seems like a sluggish, lazy, predictable type of football. They are very easy to be opened up by their bad organisation and slow defenders. I don't think this team is well coached. This Senegalese team I am watching will lose against France and Norway for sure, and that Haiti game will be a struggle. There is a lot of talent on the team, but they are not playing like a well-coached team. I am currently watching the game with my Norwegian friends. They feel very confident that they will turn this Senegalese team over when they meet. My hope for this World Cup among African teams is really pinned on Ivory Coast and Morocco. Algeria and Egypt might surprise, but the rest are going there to mark attendance.

Arthur Okonkwo kept a clean sheet against Zimbabwe 2-0(Nwabali conceded against them in AFCON qualifiers).

Against Jamaica 3-0(another clean sheet).Nwabali conceded 2 against them in the final of last 2 editions of Unity cup, with the match ending in 2-2 draw with the Super Eagles winning on penalties.

Okoye conceded 2 against Poland and shouldn't start the game against Portugal.

Arthur Okonkwo deserves a start.Okoye can replace him in the 2nd-Half.

But whatever anyone wishes, they should stop wishing to be paired with Ghana or South Africa no matter how strong our team may appears to look.
They have proving to be capable of stopping us in the past.

Those two countries have stopped us from going to world cup on two occasions, therefore,it would not be prudent to be wishing to play them so we can have our revenge,even though we can never be afraid of them.
The same way I can never wish to be paired with Argentina in any world cup,even though I believe we are capable of defeating them on a good day.
But if however we get paired with any of them,we can then boldly approach the encounter as boldly as we have always done,
But it's just better to avoid them altogether.

Bro plss don’t nuture this mindset especially against SA…. I can agree with you on Ghana but you see SA, never were they the ones that stopped us from qualifying to world cup or Afcon
in 2015 Afcon Keshi’s (Defending Champions of 2013) team was busy losing to Congo 2-3 in Uyo, and losing 1-0 to Sudan in Khartoum but playing draw twice with SA (0-0 in SA and 2-2 in Uyo) The thing is we are to complacent and careless against lesser teams in the group and hoping to fight it out with the top teams in the group….why we were busy losing to Congo and Sudan, SA was busy dispatching them.
That was how we lost that ticket…in this case it was not SA that stopped us from qualifying, it was Sudan and Congo

Same thing in 2026 WCQ, we are losing to Benin and drawing Lesotho, Zimbabwe and then hoping to beat SA….
Baba let SA be in our in every qualifying editions if we underrate the lesser minnows we will pay for it, cos SA will capitalize on our poor form to pound those teams, SA knows they cant beat us so they will pound those teams and hope to hold us to a draw.
In this same case it was not SA that stopped us from qualifying, it was Lesotho,Benin and most especially Zimbabwe that stopped us

Imagine if we are doing our own pounding of those minnows home and away and draw SA home and away, walai we will still qualify to any tournaments case
