I pray we get our own Bernado Silva one day. We need this possession and recycling revolution for all national teams. No be run run counter and individual brilliance abeg. Philosophy that hurts opponents is why Morocco and Senegal are currently powerhouses on the global stage. One day sha. This coach looks hungry.

As much as we are well stacked in the right back position, I hope Eric Chelle sees the need to scout for quality players at left back position....
Zaidu and Onyemachi have not really been convincing at all,,

Thank God, we were not mauled!!! Surprised Bruno played CB, don't know why Fernandez wasn't thrown into the mix. I will blame Zaidu for that 2nd goal sha. And Bewene sort of looked better than Akpan in my opinion.

Good football. Give and get.

No way Portugal will think this was a class down.

If we are going to loose, it should be against a team like portugal or some great European or South American team. We were struggling against small teams before he took over

The farthest we went with him was QF of AFCON21.
We always conceed most times he is on the pitch for us

I bet he would have conceded if he played the unity cup and his minions would defend him

I pray to Father God that Chelle is given time by the NFF. We need long term evolution and consistency. Let's not lose hope. It's a damn shame we are not at the Mundial but please for the love of God, let's give Eric Sekou a chance.

The solution is for our full team to take grade A friendly serious…that moment Chukwu had a counter was similar to Osimhen and Akor counter against Algeria…simple run with the ball into free area and shoot or even do the Osimhen kinda assist

This is the fact you just stated.

Once na big game, e dey be like na our players dey respect the opponents especially if they adored them on tv. But that one no concern Francophonie. Lol. They go ball you to stupor.

The way we played England that year was good too. 2-1 as well. That 2-1 and this 2-1 big difference dey.

Nnadi was exhausted today. Should not have played 80mins. He did great today but we really do need extra beast options in the middle.

Goke7:
We need pure beasts in our midfield this light touch can’t help us in big games and that’s an issue we need to fix asap

Is there any coach that hasn't lost a match before? I'm proud of the coach.

Meanwhile, I thought we lost to Egypt in the friendly before AFCON.

If you did not see how brazenly disrespectful you are, then maybe you will get it someday. Even now you are still saying it. It speaks a lot to how you were raised. And since you feel you can say what ever you like , here goes.

My turn!.....

On a second thought, that's not who I am... But I will say this, learn rules of engagement. Intelligence is key
You can go ahead and say what ever you want to say. What did I even say that's disrespectful "sorry to say but you're blind ” which is you're blind to how well ajayi was playing.

Anyway I'll apologize even though we might actually be age mates because if you're older than me by a lot let say at least 15 years then you're well into your 60s I'm sorry I hurt your fragile pride and a word of advice if you're going to be this fickle then I'll advice you stay offline because people are going to say a lot worse what will you do then?

Very true. All though it's to our advantage I don't think we can handle an aggressive press yet.

Our semifinal against Morocco comes to mind .

Although they did not sustain the press but when they did press we were under a lot of pressure.
I agree. We tend to cave in when pressed. I think Chelle needs to work on that.

In football, technicality will always defeat physicality. If all you bring is physicality, the only thing you'll do is give them a tough time. You're still guaranteed to lose 99.99% of the time.

At least it wasn't an embarrassing scoreline thanks to Ronaldo's misses and Maduka's incredible saves.
