I have done upfront medical exam, and the nurse told me that I should upload the medical information sheet given to me. Where should I upload this stuff pls? I didn't see any section to upload the file in my ircc account. I need urgent response please

I do not know that person. I have never referred anyone to you. I do not know any agent, and I am not an agent myself. Yet, even after I have stated this repeatedly, it still does not seem to register in your medulla oblongata.

In 9 years on this forum, no one has ever called me a scammer. I have never collected money from anyone I do not even ask, and I have helped countless people along the way.

I have never sugar-coated the truth. You may not like my words, but most of the time, they are simply the bitter truth.

You cannot throw insults at people, call them agents and scammers because you do not agree with them, and then complain when they respond to defend themselves and clear their names. It does not work that way.

My little advice is that before spending a significant amount on studies, you should carefully assess the return on investment and also explore possible PR pathways you may already qualify for. Studying in Canada does not guarantee permanent residence. Immigration rules are changing, PR is becoming more competitive, and many international graduates are struggling to secure jobs and qualify for PR after graduation.

Make sure you are pursuing the program for its educational and career value, not with the expectation that a study permit will automatically lead to PR.

For example, my cousin abandoned the study route early last year and focused on learning French instead. After about 10 months of dedicated study, he passed the TEF and received a French-language Express Entry ITA this year. Everyone's situation is different, but it is worth exploring all available immigration options before committing to an expensive study program that may not ultimately lead to PR.

The same procedure as the PA, but for kids, they don't do all test like adults, the test they will do depending on their age. So when registeration indicate their age.

I am making enquiries for my 20 years old brother graduating from uni this month (Computer science). The family is trying to find the best way for him to leave the country for his masters. My parents are petty traders and hope to sell a land or two for POF, however, we worry that his visa might be rejected because of that (no ties to home country)
He is not working yet so he can’t self fund. Please what is the best way for us to move forward?
Are we making the right decision sending him to Canada considering job opportunities?
What is the best time to deposit the money in the account to start POF?

We are so lost and any advise would be very much appreciated. Thank you

Yes, they should ban anything related to PR. There is an express entry thread where those people interested in PR can get their questions answered.

The reason why questions on PR comes here is that people have dual intent when they come to Canada and lots of people have benefited from it including myself. It used to be a guaranteed part way just that sadly things have changed recently. Enroll in school, complete your program, get one year Canadian job experience in your field, apply for PR and you are guaranteed to get it.

I have no moral right to discourage anyone from coming to Canada to study when I have benefited from it.

I wish everyone applying for study permit best of luck.

You just have to book an appointment, make the required payment and make sure you show for the medical examination.

There are 3 hospitalsthat I know you can do your medicals in Nigeria.

1. IOM in Lagos
2. Qlife in Lagos
3. IOM in Abuja

Just Google them and book the appointment online.

Before selling lands, can your brother explore the option of getting funding for his masters program. He should look for thesis based M.Sc. in Computer Science program. He may get part or full funding. Those fundings are competitive but people are still getting them and many schools in Canada offer such funding.

I should add that family ties is one of the excuses IRCC officials give when they have no genuine reasons to deny visas. Focus more on getting admission with funding.

When you say your parents are petty traders, how "petty" are we talking? From my experience, it is better to look at their bank accounts first, some Nigerian do a lot of transactions without knowing because they don't pause to review their Financials.

It is only after you go through their bank statements that you can plan better on how to sponsor him.

I thought selling a land for POF might be viewed as though he won’t be returning back to his country after studies
My parents business is in the informal sector so it’s not registered. We figured it might be better to have the money in his account instead

I am currently targeting a funded thesis-based master's degree in Canada for Fall 2027, specifically in the area of environmental governance and sustainable development.

I have already identified some programs and schools I am interested in, including McGill University, University of Waterloo, Western University, Queen's University, and University of Ottawa. I am also currently applying for the McCall MacBain Scholarship at McGill.

No school in Canada is facing financial pressure because even if the whole of Africa stop applying to Canadian institutions only China alone will cover the gap. Remember there are India, Arab nations, European countries, Brazil , Argentina and the Caribbeans etc. Therefore there is no shortage of international students enrolment in Canada.

As for Permanent Residency. The fact that every reader of this post should take is that if you are able to graduate successfully in any accredited canadian institution no matter the course of study your PR will eventually be established.

Lets focus on the main topic which is How to process the Canada study visa successfully. Anything the student face in Canada after study is irrelevant topic.

Your 2nd class Upper is not sufficient to pull the stunt and you do not have any work history to back it up. If your major was in Chemistry, Engineering, Medicals etc and you have a work history with good recommendations that is when your profile would have attracted a department or a professor .

Or If your 2nd class Upper was attained in an Msc standing you would have also attracted a potential professor for Phd enrolment.

Nonetheless, send mail to the department of your choice in all of the schools you have listed. Elaborate your skills and potentials in the mail as well as your interest in fundings. This is where you will know your admission and funding standings ..
