"Don’t Pay Ransom, I Will Kill Myself": Corper's Last Message To Her Father by BlackViper(op): 12:44pm On Jun 13
BREAKING!!!!!!!!!

A 23-year-old girl—barely an adult, still full of dreams—was kidnapped by bandits. They demanded 50 million naira. Her family begged, pleaded, and cried for mercy. The bandits refused to reduce a single kobo.

For two weeks, her father fought like a lion. He borrowed, sold, and bled dry to raise every kobo. Finally, he had the 50 million. He called them, desperate to hear his daughter’s voice one more time before paying.

She came on the phone.

And instead of begging to be saved, she told her father: “Don’t pay. I will kill myself if they release me.” She was woefully failed by the system but extremely BRAVE

Because for fourteen days—fourteen unthinkable, merciless days—those monsters had been raping her. Over and over. Daily. Hourly. Destroying her soul while she was still alive.

When the bandits heard what she said, they put a bullet in her head. Then they sent her family the video and pictures of her final moment.

That girl didn’t die. She was murdered—after being tortured in ways no human being should ever suffer.

This is not about politics anymore. This is about our humanity. This is about mothers who will never hold their daughters again. Fathers who gather ransom only to receive a corpse. Young girls who go to sleep terrified that tonight might be their turn.

Me: May it never be well with any city boy and girl who turns their eyes away from this. May peace never find the heart that excuses evil for power.
May every tear shed by this famiy rise as a fire against those who enable this madness in government.

Imaginative writer, where is the official report of this story? I don’t know what you children gain from concocting fake news. Yes, she may have been abducted — if the story is true to begin with. What I doubt are all the thriller movie sequences of the write-up.

Her name was Janet Dairo, an NYSC service member. She left Akure on June 1 to Kwara State University to sort out an academic document.

She boarded a bus, expecting to get to her destination and continue with her life, instead, she was k!dnapped by band!ts.

If this doesn't awaken something in you, then you're dead inside.

They’ve come again with “it could happen to anyone.” Where is the proof of her saying she’ll kill herself?

I’ve been emotional since the 80s. Where has it led me? Nigerians have been emotional since colonialism, independence, the civil war, military rule and now democracy. Where has it led us? What happened is not new. R.I.P. to the dead. What I hate is writers exaggerating events using concocted fantasies.

They are our brothers.
They are prodigal sons.
We are giving them time to surrender.

If you look at these statements above by those who are supposed to end this terrorism, you will know Nigeria is far gone. Are terrorist supposed to see the light of the day. A sane country would not make such comments

Don’t japa sit down and wait

When it’s time to raise ransom the money 50m or more will come out but to raise funds for japa no way.

When it’s time to raise money for treat or cure sickness no money but time for burial money will come.

Re: "Don’t Pay Ransom, I Will Kill Myself": Corper's Last Message To Her Father by Ablesam171:
A failed country indeed.
You can't travel by road and feel free like it use to be when we were younger.
My dad would drive from Lagos to east and the journey would be so peaceful without fear or being kidnapped. Truly, there was a country
I traveled to my hood in Olodi Apapa recently to and was having conversation with some of my egbon adugbo who are APC card carrying members (these are men in their late forties and fifties), maka chukwu i pitied Nigeria.
Do you know that one admitted that Tinubu is a total failure but he'll still vote for him while another obviously have hatred for Igbos and everything that has to do with igbos and for that he'll never support anything Igbo. An Igbo guy in my hood opened a conversation on kidnappings in yoruba land and one of them shut him up that it's not the business of Igbos if there's kidnappingin Yoruba land, after all Yoruba didn't interfere during the days of insecurity in southeast during Buhari's administration. Funny thing is that these people live in one room apartments of the houses built by their parent in 70's and these houses are public face me i face you houses with one or two toilets and bathrooms for more than 14 rooms per house in the worst condition you'll ever think of and believe me the dog house in my family house there is by far better than the houses they live.
I made up my mind more than 2 years ago never to give any of them my hard earned money for any reason even if hunger wan kill them (they've noticed it though and think it's because I'm struggling financially but na me know sey non of dem go get urgent 5k to 100k from me again).
Funny thing is that some of these people complain about how things were good for them years ago but the still believe Tinubu is doing well. During Buhari's administration they were singing praises of Buhari only for them to say Tinubu is fixing what Buhari destroyed.
I keep asking myself, what fo this people gain in supporting failure? When obviously the failure is affecting them.
If you see any supporter of Tinubu that says Tinubu is doing well make sure you don't give them your money since Tinubu is doing well, they should be able to fend for themselves.
