Emmanuel Okereke, 22 (CB) played all 90mins as his side VPS drew 1-1 vs KuPS in the Finnish Veikkausliiga. Ogunniyi Oluwaseyi, 19 (RB) subbed in on 79mins for VPS and won a penalty. A penalty that was missed. Clinton Jeptha, 19 (LW) played all 90 as Inter Turku played 0-0 vs AC Oulu. A clash between 1st and 2nd in the Finnish Topflight (Veikkausliiga). |

Mujtahida:You may have good positioning, but poor anticipation. Anticipation is a trait that comes through attention conditioning, experience and a prior study of a player's preferences (a player's stronger foot, the use of feint shots etc) |

Football has been effectively split into 4 quarters like American sports with these commercials during water breaks. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Ppogbae: 9:19pm On Jun 13 |
Nomyth:The truth of the matter is that those hydration breaks were not done for player well-being. It was all a ruse to satisfy sponsors, especially Americans ones. |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by SymphonyRad: 9:50pm On Jun 13 |
Nomyth:It's all a way to introduce the American system of doing commercials via "hydration breaks " for their various brand endorsements like they do in the NFL. Since America are the major financiers of this tournament, the other Co-hosts allowed them do it their way. |

Just know this- when the die is cast, this same South Africans won’t hesitate to lynch you while the Nigerians you are fighting would be the ones to stand with you |

Switzerland is going to regret this rubbish display they played tonight. This nonchalant performance today against a very bad Qatari team will surely come back to bite them in the ass. Their manager's defensive and negative approach of playing a defensive midfielder, Zakaira, as a winger and playing defensive-minded midfielders Xhaka, Aebischer, and Freuler against one of the weakest teams in the tournament is a sackable offense. Their performance today was absolutely disgraceful and totally unacceptable. Canada and Bosnia are going to beat this Qatari team silly, and Switzerland has completely complicated this tournament for themselves. Some of these coaches are simply unbelieveable. This motherfucker essentially implemented 4 defensive players who are not defenders to be on the field in a game against Qatar. Qatar, not France, Argentina, or Spain. Simply unbelievable. |

darkelf:If u really think it's easy for them to get the national job, think again. Make una dey always leave our ex internationals for us. If they hustle for national jobs, problem, if they don't, still problem. These are legends that have brought joy for us at some points It's not even easy for black Europeans to get a coaching job,you have to be really good. |

Noticing less enthusiasm for the hate watch against morocco than what south africa faced. Probably Boils down to how they are perceived and the quality of thier squad. Morocco are regarded as d*ckheads for that afcon stunt but they have the potential to win so there is caution in betting against them while South Africa are xenophobes with no discerning quality in their squad so betting against them is safe TheSuperNerd: |

Being a good player and a good coach are not mutualy exclusive. They are different concepts as far football is concerned. Being a legend is not enough, do you possess the experience and capability to lead the country to glory? What are their coaching experience and success as coaches? Even the one we gave sef is part of the reason this thread is not analysing our best squad to prosecute a match in this world cup. we sef deserve the best nau. Nobody should come and use our national teams to do IT. Apart from Argentina that gave maradona the coaching role for 2010 world cup ( we saw how that turned out), how many countries give out their coaching roles for ex players just based on legend status?? oloriooko:I don’t care who you support… same way you should not care who I hate And you sound like a typical black man, that’s why you people are the most oppressed in the world.. it’s never your business until you are affected.. Sorry I don’t know anyone who knows anyone that was affected, but I don’t need to know them before I hate those who practice hate on others All the best to whomever you support.. I don’t care! I am wise enough to know that not every black man is my brother and not every white man is my enemy… You will learn the hard way when you see those whom you call brothers dagger you from the back |

oloriooko:You might probably be Yoruba Just for you to know, Brazil is more Yoruba than Morocco.. Let me educate you a bit to save you from some identity ignorance there’s a big Yoruba culture in Brazil and they practice full Yoruba culture and religion. Many of your people who were enslaved from west Africa are part of Brazil today… Are you aware of that? But the Morocco you think are your brothers because you share same continent with you will claim Arab first before ever identifying with your black azzzz And they literally don’t recognize you as complete humans.. they were literally throwing bananas at your Nigerian goalie in the last afcon telling you that you are monkeys See mr man, when you think you are smart, I just dey laugh you because you are one of the most ignorant Mr mature person I’ve come across on nairaland You lack awareness |

This Brazil vs Morocco game will be a tough one for both sides. I expect solid moroccan defensive discipline and their threats on the counter and I expext Ancelotti's Brazil to really dazzle and probe that Moroccan double wall. Meanwhile... even Colombia collected NO from a player now playing for Mexico at this WC. 2026's WC opening goal scorer... Julian Quinones.
