I think Chelle is already doing that. A typical Nigerian coach can never give bewene and akpan their debut looking at their profile.
this is a lie, how old was Iheanacho when Keshi gave him his first cap? The problem is if it was a Nigerian coach that invited Bewane and Akpan you people will insinuate that money have changed hands

I started watching football during USA 94. As a child of the 80's I was already conscious of Brazil being a superpower in football. When I seriously started following football, I fell in love with Romario, Ronaldo de Lima, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho but somehow I never supported Brazil and I still don't support Brazil.

It however hurts me that Brazil has now become like any other football team. Morocco is Brazil and Brazil is Morocco.

A sad spectacle for football. Chai

Morocco has improved and that is good but Brazil has become mediocre. It really has nothing to do with Morocco. Brazil no longer strikes fear in the heart of their opponents. See how Morocco was knocking the ball around with the Brazilian players rooted in between like training cones.

Kai Germany,Una do this one. That 7-1 defeat in 2014 before their home crowd in Rio spiritually decapitated Brazil.

Since Mikel retired see the players who have worn our jersey number 10:

Aribo

Dele Bashiru

We don't have a midfield conductor.

And we desperately need one. Iwobi is good but he is not a maestro.

We should not be playing without a proper midfield conductor.

I remember watching a clip of Eguavoen where he said that a good team must have a good spine.

This means we must have a good goalkeeper, two good CBs, a good DM and a good maestro and the head of the snake,a good attacker. It is around this structure that the rest of the team should be built.

Chelle had better start getting the likes of Femi Azeez, Zadok and Suleiman Sani ready for first team football starting from the next AFCON, after that Ayyoud Bouaddi Michelin performance at 18, the argument that a player is too young to take a risk on should be tagged as redundant...if you're good enough, you're old enough (footballistically speaking btw).
Thank you!!!

When we can’t get one against Poland
They think our football is superior to that of Qatar in 2026
Smh
Maybe we really need to start playing S/Korea, Japan etc to know our true level
Last time Nigeria was in the round of 16 at the World Cup was 2014
Italy last made the round of 16 in 2006
I guess with your logic Qatar has left them behind too

I was watching Bouaddi, and I was having a football orgasm. What a player. As mentioned before, to have an elite-level national team, you have to have technical ball-playing players in every position. The decline of the Super Eagles started when non-ball-playing players like Troost-Ekong, Omurue, Ajayi, Balogun, and Frank Onyeka started playing paramount roles in the Super Eagles.

I was watching the USA '94 Super Eagles games at the World Cup, and every single player on that team was so comfortable and technical on the ball. This is why I said the likes of Semi Ajayi and Sanusi need to be thanked and retired from the national team if we are really serious about competing with the big boys.

Morocco is a really good team, and they can really go far in this tournament. The people clamoring for all these junk NPFL players and non-technical ball-playing players don't really wish well for the Super Eagles to perhaps, in their lifetime, be in the semi-finals or finals of a World Cup.
Hmm,eagles started declining with Omeruo a real ball playing defender that won Afcon 2013,played his heart out in 2014 and 2018 WC ..also Ekong Afcon MVP was useless to you... Balogun a CB who was known for good ball playing but to you he was not a ball playing player...Frank Oyenka a bottle carrier of eagles midfield is useless, without Frank Oyenka on the field Iwobi always finding it difficult to oprrate

Did you really know US 94 team?cuz I watched and followed the team keenly, even watched their trainings in Papendal through Segun Odegbami and Dudu Orume football live show,so you are wrong to tell us that every single player in that team was so comfortable with football on his feet,do you know Emeka Ezeugo?if you know him you will not tell us he was comfortable with ball on his feet.

If Nigeria is planning to win the next AFCON, they need to improve. Other Africa teams are really improving. Lookout at what morrocco play yesterday, very good team, with good quality and depth of player's. We still need more quality player's to be able to compete with the likes of morroco and Senegal.
