No degree is useless, especially at an advanced level, such as a PhD. The fact that China decided to drop some courses does not render those courses useless. Is it history, as some had said?I wish someone could get me up on this and tell me exactly why those courses are useless if we want to build an advanced society, not just technologically

Well, Ai can teach you literally everything now. So, why study courses with your human brain when humans cant think faster than computers behind AI technology?

AI is disrupting the traditional labor market and it only makes sense to admit the realities and be well-positioned for whats hinting.

Certain careers are already extinct. For example, why waste years to study library science for example when people dont even need to go to the library anymore when they can get the information they need online or with various AI tools? It applies to several courses as well.

I know. What I am saying is that bee rearing should not be a separate course on it's own. It supposed to be as a specialization under animal science.

Don't mind the talk and talk Social Media gaulible audiences,as if those Courses have not contributed to the Development of Individuals and Development of the Country as a whole.
For example,one person above said English or English literature is not important - I pity your myopic knowledge!
So,China is now going about that you should Study Mandarin ( Chinese Language) - to know and learn about China- you think they are not Wise !

all the programmes you mentioned here are still valid but what should change or update is the course content.

For example, so many types of marketing have emerged today in the digital space but they are not taught in the university.

My brother told me that he was offered Admission to study music.
I told him to leave that useless course and sit for Jamb again.But for the main time,I enrolled him in where he will learn to AI skills

That's simply because you are looking at it as a small production scale product.
In other countries even rice farming is a course.
When you Look at at it from an industrial standpoint everything changes.

I wish Nigeria could borrow a leaf from China. Some courses are not just worth studying at all. Some of the arts and social science courses should be scrapped! You can't be studying social studies, English and literary studies, sociology, linguistics etc when other nations are busy making advances in AI...

Bee Rearing as a course ke, just hearing this for the first time. My friend, an architect is an established beekeeper and boy might just laugh if I broach this idea of bee rearing as a university course to him.

AI helps, not absolute as such. AI will not go into the field, gather data, and implement the outcome of such. Original ideas remain to be investigated in those fields.
